Hello, I'm just going to promote a new post that I have just posted. Now I don't want you to read through these percentages and really take them to heart it This isn't that important. But what I'm trying to show you here is that the post promotion and the votes you get on your new post, just the minute or the second that it has been published, are much more important than the votes you get 30 minutes after that. So the first 30 minutes are crucial. So when you post your new post 100% of the curation reward goes to you the author, after three minutes, that goes down to 90%. At 50 minutes, it's 5050 at 27 minutes, 10% goes to you the author 90% to the curator, and after 30 minutes 100 percent of the curation reward goes to the curator.

So this doesn't mean that you don't get anything after 30 minutes. This is just the curation rewards, it's not the rewards for the actual post, they go on for one week. So anything you earn any vote, you get right up to a week after you've hit the publish button on that post, then you will receive some money for it. But the first 30 minutes are crucial. So just to reiterate that point, promote the hell out of the post as soon as you've published and there's two major ways of doing that. The first is steam chat, which you can register for on a browsers at steam it chat, www steam it dot chat, all you need to get or sign up to discord, which is a chat channel application.

Very good one, and you should subscribe to the channel called pal pa L. So let me just show you those Two things now, and I will show you these both later in the video. But first of all, here we are at steam it dot chat, and you register there with your steam it username, and you should find the post promotion channel as well as the general channel. But after that, you should subscribe to more channels. And I'll show you about that later on in this video. But as I mentioned, you should download this discord app. So you click one of these buttons and download this app, you should create an account with discord and that means you can use this chat room.

Here is the PA l channel which stands for peace abundance and liberty. And this is a channel created by the minnow support group. To get that channel you just click on here and join us server and in You put the link that I will give to you with this video, I've got to say that as I'm posting in the English language, I'm doing this as a time of the day where Western Europe, Britain and America are awake. And I have gone on to my wallet. And first thing we can see is that I've got some rewards, I've got eight and a half steam back dollars, and then 5.6 steam power. Now that is a 5050 split.

So this is roughly the same amount of money. Steam back dollars, of course are roughly 8.5 dollars, and the price of steam is about 121 $30 at the moment, so there's less steam power in terms of units, but these two values are the same and what I will do is redeem rewards, and that went into my Steam which is now 149 My steam dollars, which is 310. I will discuss the difference between steam, steam power and steam dollars in another video. But the whole purpose of what I'm doing at the moment is to get more steam, more steam you have, the more influence you have on the community. So if you look further down here, you'll see some, the history and this is the history of all the transactions I've ever made on the platform. And this will stay on the blockchain forever on a multitude of nodes and computers around the world, and constantly updating and constantly keeping copies of that ledger.

So as you see, I've got payments that goes to people. They're not people. They're robots called minnow booster, rando whale and booster and I'm going to do that again. Now, this is working at the moment for me. I'm not saying that you should do this, but if I pay To or $1 to these robots, I usually get that amount back in up votes. These are bots that have been designed to give beginners like me a leg up on the platform to get started so I get some people viewing the post so I'm gonna go ahead and do that.

So under steam back dollars I go transfer and though while I'm sending just $1 that's all he wants. And the memo is the link to the new post. So that's gone we do another one immediately transfer the steam dollars to booster and then you can give anything you want to boost but I'm not going to give more than $2 because I don't think this is really worth it. It's just something to try out. And the last one is minnow booster. $2.

So there's $5 I've spent promoting this post and let's hope. Let's hope it makes more money than that. So if I go back to my blog, I look that already I've made $1 and 86 on the post. There are no comments left. But let's go to the post. And what we want to do is now go to steam, it's chat.

So that's steam it dot chat. And you need to register on this channel to connect your ID here with your Steam account. And then you can add your link to the post promotion page. And also I would add the link of an image from the post. Not a very interesting image copy image address and put it in there. And then as you see my post sticks out there and not only does it have the emojis in the title, it also has the image so that usually does some work quite well.

However it's not a case of just posting in the post promotion channel at steam it dot chats. If you go here under the channels section, you will see that there are a lot but somebody up voted me there I will have to say thank you and have a look at for the post. What's funny, he hasn't got a link other it is. That's probably it because this tech tech guys got the same name in chat as he has in steam. So I will up for his post. You see, he's got six extra cents.

And I will tell him you go up to means I've up uploaded it. So as I was saying you have a list of channels here so you could search for some keywords specific to your posts and maybe you've you've done something about travel. There's two channels there that you could join and then you could post this same in those channels. So for example, this post I wrote is about steam it so will might not get relevant channels has obviously quite a lot on steam it but seen as a Taiwan which is good for my Thai posts. It's not a good idea. It's about minnows Check minnows and there are some great Minos channels that I've already subscribed to and joined.

When you join these channels, you should check to see if posting is okay. You can also have a look at the pins notice or the info about the chatroom. And if they say you're not allowed to post then obviously don't post in that chat room. minnows united, obviously, this is looking like you can definitely post in here. And if we go to the AI, it doesn't say anything. So I'll just post in that channel.

But it's great to get to know people on steam it chat. What tends to happen on this chat channel, is you get people messaging you asking you to upvote their posts, and the idea is you upvote them and then you tell them you have And ask them to upvote your post. So you can also do this in parallel on discord No. Again, you have to register for this one you want to go to discord and get the discord app, you can use it in a browser or you can use the desktop application. And here you can put your post in post promotion. And if somebody likes it, they might want to upvote it.

But also very good here is to have a look at these channels and see if there's anything that appeals to you. So if you're from the UK, you might want to post it in Team GB, always good to strike up a conversation with the people here. Get to know people on these channels, then you're much more likely to get good upvotes rather than Just pasting it in anyway, one more thing to do in the PA l channel peace abundance Liberty which is created by the minnows support project. definitely get registered there when you've done that you can check goes to the registration channel and type dollar register space followed by your steam it user name and that will say whether you're registered or not. When you've done that in upvote 21 minutes after you have posted you just go to the upvote channel and you can see what other people have done.

You go dollar sign up votes, space and then paste in your new post. And there it is. There's my new post and wait for the bot hopefully the bot will say so banjo the bots are saying that it's up voted my post there and somebody There's another part that says that as well. But that's it. I'm gonna stop there. Don't take all of these little tricks too seriously, it's not the most important thing.

The most important thing is to engage with steam Ian's on the platform, and forge meaningful, Win Win relationships with them there. And that's a much better way to get on with the platform. This is just something you might want to try when you're a bit new. Let's check on the post. We'll see that the post has made $2 now it's over 12 votes.
