Caring and consistent. People with the high steadiness behavioral style are important in holding families and teams together. They're loyal and deep feeling people who show steadfast effort, great patience and a desire for harmony and flow. They're dependable. They're deliberate. They're amiable.

They're persistent, and they're good listeners. They're friendly towards colleagues, supervisors and anyone that they work with, but they may be perceived as being quite hesitant at times, particularly if they have to make an important decision which may impact negatively on other people. They may be perceived as being resistant to change, and they may have difficulty identifying priorities and have difficulty with deadlines. Can you think of anyone With a high steadiness behavioral style, think about somebody who is caring who is consistent who is very loyal, and shows great patience. These people can bring about change, but they bring about change in a very slow, steady way. In order to bring people along with them.

They may be resistant to major change, particularly if this impacts negatively on a lot of people. They may have difficulty with deadlines and priorities which conflicts with their values, and with dealing with lots of people in exactly the same way. However, to a group of people working together, they bring values they bring principles, they will ensure that everyone works to the values with integrity, with purpose and with honest communication. They will model and demonstrate how each person and everybody within the group should be and how they should behave. With the high steadiness behavioral style, aim to be friendly when you show interest in them personally. Have some chitchat before getting down to business.

Take time to ask them open questions, be informal and non threatening. Include guarantees and assurances wherever possible that they're doing the right thing or making the right decision. Ensure that your presentation to them has a real personal touch. You're going to have difficulty with the high steadiness behavioral style. If you get straight to the point. If you keep the discussion focused on factual information and outcomes over time, if you keep offering opinions or try to increase the complexity of the discussion in the decisions that they need to make, you're going to have problems if you cause them to respond and react quickly.
