In this part, we'll see how to add transitions, effects and elements on the video. So let's get started by importing the videos. So I'll just simply click here and select few video clips. For example, I have selected these three clips, and I'll just click on open. Now I'll drag them to timeline. And I'll click on don't change.

And I'll just simply click on this option zoom to fit the timeline so that I can see all the three clips simultaneously on the timeline here and now let's see how to add transitions between these video clips. Or as for example, if you want to just add transition to the single clip, you need to simply split it up. So to split it, you can use Ctrl V as well and clicking on split. Now the video has been splitted into two parts, you can simply go to transition, you can select the category of transition that you want to add. So for example, I'll select this one and drag it on to this. I can even adjust the timing by tracking Now, let's see the transition.

Right. So similarly, you can just drag the transition between these two clips and can adjust the duration by just simply tracking. Now let's just play and check out. So there are other transitions as well. We'll apply one transition here and explain check out. Okay, in this way you can add transitions between the clips.

Now let's see how to add effects. So we go to effects in the effects we have filters, overlays and utilities. So first, we'll take a look at the effects here filter effects. So you can add for example shape here. So I just take this one and put it over this clip and drag it till where I want. So I want it throughout the clip so I have dragged it through the clip.

Now let's see this effect here. Okay, you can see the C traffic working, I just simply delete this effect. And you can see the normal clip here. In the same way, take a look at the other effects as well, you have one thing that I forgot to tell you while just talking about the pictures was if the picture was not taking the whole length of the video size means it was not a wide clip, then we used crop to fit option instead, we could use another one as well. That is for example, I just important picture here. So I click on Import.

You can do the same thing on the video as well, but I'm showing it on the picture here. So I just import the picture here and drag it onto the timeline. Just move it a bit. And now you can see that the black borders are appearing behind this picture because it's not fitting completely on the screen. So what can be done is you can even go to effects, take the background blur option and just pull this filter and put it about here. You can see that is filling up the background portion.

You can take other efforts as well. So you can see it's pulling it up. So okay, let's delete it, you can do the same thing with the videos as well. Now let's see other effects. For example, if you want to change this to black and white, you can simply drag this here and pull it till where you want. Now you can see that the video clip has been changed to black and white.

I'll delete it. Let's see more. So here there are some distortion effects. So I'll just take this blue one and put it here and now you can see some dramatic effect going on. I just pull it in here. And now let's play it.

So till here it's without the effect and from this potion, the effect will be started. So the effect has started. Let me delete this inside of material. You can This shadow effect or ambos effect as well. Now you can see this effect working inside of common effects you can take this video all effect. So I'll just play it here without effect once and when it reaches here the effect will be started again.

So delete this, I hope you have understood how to use the filter effects. Now let's go on to the overlays. On the overlays, you can add frames and all for example if you want to make this cinematic, so you can add this one, the black bars on the top and the bottom portion. So it appears like this. Right, I'll just simply delete this, you can add other effects as well. There are light leaks as well which you can use it.

So I'll just simply drag one and you can see the effect working on this. Now I just simply go on to the utility to show you face off option So for example, let's come towards this clip. And I'll add face off option here. And you can see that it automatically detects the face and covers that off. I can even double click on this face option to replace that with face presets, for example and select this, this, you can select whatever you want. So I'll go for this one and click on you can try different utilities.

And you can use this one as well tilt shift, it's a good effect. So I'll just pull it here and show you. So first without this effect. And now with this tilt shift effect. Okay, I'll just delete all these effects which I have applied. And now let's enter the elements section here, elements.

I have already shown you all this, but I'm showing it again.
