Hello and welcome to the lecture on strategies and techniques to heal addiction. Healing addictions is tough business is generally a lifelong journey. Not only are there deeply suppressed emotions to heal, but they're also a physical addiction. Therefore, addicts require extra special care as outlined in this lecture. First thing is addicts need support. addicts need continual support for some type of community.
Ideally, it's from your family, but if your family is not available, then it can be from organizations like a or some other type of support group. addicts also need to quit for someone or something else. It can be a child, a family member or God. Whoever it is, an addict needs to Quit for somebody or something outside of themselves. And the reason that is is because many addictions have a very low self esteem, and they can't just quit for themselves. And also, addicts need to quit.
They need to get off of whatever they're addicted to, and it's essential that addicts get off of what they're addicted to as soon as possible. So in terms of hypnotherapy, hypnotherapy can be helpful for some people with direct suggestion by using behavior modification. However, behavior modification only scratches the surface and results tend to be so so. So real healing requires addressing deeper trigger emotions. And so that brings us to the deeper hypnotherapy techniques in the text neat mix to use for an addict as you everything because you want to you want to help your client heal past trauma, reframe, reframe their perception of themselves, you need to forgive others and to forgive themselves. They need to clear out their past lives.
They need to invoke divine healing. Essentially, they need to rebuild themselves from the inside out.
