With this shortcut, I can pretty much guarantee that whatever you paid for this course, you're going to get back and more. What it is, is you're going to compare prices between Amazon, target and Walmart. This shortcut will save you money if you use it. So here's what to do click on this link, and that link will be in the course. I don't know if this one is in the shortcuts or not, I don't think it is. And I'd like to give credit who ever did the shortcut, but I can't find it right now.
So if I do find it, I'll put it into the course, simply click on the link and it'll open it to item lookup. Then click on Get shortcut. Oh, I already have the shortcut, so I'll just replace it. So we just start brand new. So it then adds a shortcut to the library. So we click on the bottom left part of the screen to get to the library, and there it is item lookup.
Then we'll click on the top three buttons of item lookup to edit it like we usually do. All this code is done for us. So we don't need to do anything, but we'll click on the upper right hand toggle so we can add a series Command and also make it up button on the home screen to make it work in one touch. It's called item lookup. That's the label that goes on the icon. But I'll call it price compare it doesn't matter what you call it.
So I'll change that here. Then we'll label it for Siri. Price compare. I already had price compare in there, click Done. We'll show it as a widget and we'll also add it to the home screen. You click on that, then click on the bottom, middle and then scroll to the side till it says Add to Homescreen and click on Add to Homescreen and then name it whatever you want to name it.
And there it is on our screen. Here's the fun part. We're going to try it out. Here's a light I got it at a discount electronics store. huge discount and they had a blowout sale. So they listed it as 6999 I think I got it for 1999 Their big blowout door busting sale.
So now we're going to scan the item right here. And sometimes you have to like click on the screen to get the barcode to register, but it doesn't matter if it's upside down or anything like that. And there it goes. So it asks us Do you want the price on Amazon, Walmart or Target? So on Walmart, the same item is 2995. Now at the discount store told me that they did sell these for 6995.
If it's true, I'm not sure. So here it's $30. So it's $40 cheaper on at Walmart. So now let's scan it and see what the price is on Amazon. It's very exciting. I know.
We click on price compare. We scan it, sometimes you have to get get it a little bit infocus tap on the screen and they'll help focus and give it light. Sometimes it goes real fast, and sometimes you kind of have to fiddle with it. There we go. I select amazon for a price compare, and it brings up this item and on Amazon. And there it is $5 cheaper than Walmart $45 cheaper than the store.
So with the money you'll save, it's like you got a free course. So go and give the course five stars right now. Okay, let's do one more quick one. Here we have a candle, and it's one of those battery operated candles. So we scan the bottom barcode. And I clicked on the screen and there it goes.
Yeah, that was pretty fast that one and now let's see what how much it is in Walmart. I selected Walmart and at Walmart. The Price Is 3399 with supposedly list price of $50. Also it says it's on clearance. So you really think you're getting a deal at 3399. We'll scan the barcode and we'll see how it is on Amazon.
We select Amazon. And on Amazon the candle is actually this isn't the right one. It's a 7.5 inch tower. And so I had to scroll and here's the correct one five by 3.5 for $25 plus free shipping. So we do save money by checking and comparing between the stores target did not have this one. But you also have to make sure that when you do check it, this was the original one.
This one was 2464 for a larger candle. So your home play is to install the app and price compared to
