This video is one of two videos, they're kind of linked together. Here, you'll learn how to record a YouTube video into your cell phone using screen record. The following video will take the video we recorded and turn it into an animated GIF as shown here that you can use for fun texts and emails. So let's get started. We're going to play the YouTube video on the screen and just record the screen. So in order to do that, go into settings, click on Settings, then go down to control panel or control center and click on control center.

And then customize controls. Click on that. And then you're going to go down and add where it says screen recorder to click on the green and that's going to go into your control center. See how it's there. It's at the top that means so when you swipe up, there's your screen control button and if you delete it you If you deleted it goes down to the bottom. And then it's not there.

So basically all you do is just click on the green on screen recording, and it goes to the top. And there it is. So that's what we're going to press on in order to record your screen puts a read record bar, so you know you're recording. Now let's go on YouTube and record the video. We're watching right from the screen. I go on YouTube, and here's a video that's playing.

Then I click in the upper right and they click click in the upper corner to bring make it fullscreen. Then I lift up and I click on the record screen record button. And then I go down and I hit play. So now I'm recording from my screen. All this is becoming a video to go into my photos. So then, okay, I there's some dancing.

Okay, so then what I do is I stopped And then I pull up from underneath to find the video record button and I stop it and click on stop recording, then it says it was successful and it saved it to my photos. So let's close that. Close that close of YouTube. And we'll go into our photos. And we'll go to the last video, which is this one, and they're saved. There's the video we recorded when we recorded the screen.

So now we're going to edit it down to like two seconds to turn it into an animated GIF. So you're going to click on the upper right hand corner where it says Edit to edit the video down to just a couple seconds. So I click Edit. And there I can take the arrows that are on the left and move it in and everything before that gets edited out. So I find where he starts dancing. And I go scroll a little more there he dances so I leave that One that I take the arrow on the right and see where he enters dance.

And there it is. So everything before and after those two arrows will be edited down I'll click on done, save as new clip and it saved and then now let's check how it turned out. We go into photos and play. And there he is dancing. That is perfect. Now we have a few seconds will turn into an animated GIF in the next video for your home play screen record and edit a video that you watch on YouTube.
