Okay, welcome back in this video we're going to talk about targeting keywords and URLs. So once you pick a hot product, okay, you're going to enter the product website or advertisement link into a site called I see an aws.com. Okay, it's a free tool is going to allow you to see what keywords people are bidding on to send traffic Okay, so this can be very valuable to you, when it comes to creating your campaigns and choosing your keywords. You can also use SpyFu comm to see what kinds of keywords are being targeted as well. And then you're also going to want to use a URL scraper to find a bunch of domains quickly to target with your ads. Okay, so you can start off running your campaign on hundreds of websites to quickly find profitable winners using a URL scraper.
So URL scrapers are awesome. And great one is at a ff portal.com. Okay, so it's a ff portal.com. So be sure to check that out. And then if you're using direct CPV, the site that we recommend you use starting out, make sure to remember that all the keywords you target are exact match. So if you're bidding on weight loss, for example, your landing page will only show up for weight loss, not great weight loss or lose weight or lost weight or whatever you're trying to bid on.
So just make sure that you choose a keyword that you want to bid on directly because that's all you're going to get and direct CPV. So it might help to think about related interests. So for example, if someone visits Pandora comm, then they probably like music, okay, so why not try to offer them downloadable ringtones it's just one example. It also might help to tailor your pop up ad to the website people are visiting. So there's a couple ways to do this. You may have a game ad pop up for people visiting Warcraft calm.
You could make the ad look similar. To the actual website, but just remember to be careful about copyright and logo infringement. Okay? Don't, don't go try and make money on other people's copyrighted material, make sure it's legit before you try to monetize it. That if you need help finding websites to advertise on, make sure to ask your representative for the highest traffic targets with similar demographics to your profitable URLs. Okay, so make sure you talk to the affiliate managers and the advertising reps are there to help you make money the more money you make, the more money they make.
So make sure to utilize them and ask them to find these URLs and find these targets. Okay. And then also remember that misspellings of keywords tend to have less competition, okay, it's kind of counterintuitive, but sometimes, if you can just target a misspelling of a keyword, I wouldn't make your build your whole campaign around this. But it can be pretty profitable to target misspellings, you know, people type this stuff in and there's not a lot of people you know, going out After these certain keywords, most people go after the keyword that spelled correctly. Okay, you could be the person that kind of slides in and make some money off people making typos when they're searching for things in the search engines. And then remember with CPV marketing, bidding wars do happen frequently, because basically whoever pays the most gets the majority of views.
Okay, so this is different than PPC, for example, where two to 10 or more people could have an ad placement for the same keyword. Okay, so this is kind of like in Google, you know, two to 10 people could have, you know, a couple ads on top couple ads on the side. But, you know, CPV is a little bit different. So keep that in mind when it comes to bidding, but also with CPV marketing, your click through rates won't affect your bids or impressions. Okay, if you do get into a bidding war, try transferring the offer to another CPV network, okay. So don't necessarily stick around if you're in a situation Where you're having to pay a ton of money just to bid and stay relevant in the ad community.
Great. Thanks for watching this video in the next module, we're going to get into actually setting up and run your campaigns. We'll see you in the next module.
