Hello and welcome to the OneNote 2016 practical uses and step by step instructions course. My name is Vicky biz Bock And I'll be assisting you as you learn the skills needed to utilize OneNote. I have over 20 years of experience in software training. I also have a Microsoft master certification in office 2013. Once you complete this course, you will have the skill set necessary to organize both your professional and personal life using OneNote. And its many features.
So let's get started by going over what's included in this course. We'll start by going over the OneNote basics including the navigation, the Quick Access toolbar, the tabs and the ribbons. Then we'll move into the functions and features that are available. Working with notebooks, pages and sub pages. And also working with sections and section groups. We'll go over the various ways of taking notes inserting different types of pages.
Attaching files and inserting printouts. We'll go over how to merge containers and how to highlight your notes, whether they're objects or text. I'll show you how to use Bullets and Numbering. We'll also go over extracting text from pictures and file printouts. I'll show you how to create links, tag your notes, do searches, print and export your notes and also how to share your notebooks via invitations and also emails and will end the functions and features by going over quick notes. Then we'll move into utilizing OneNote in conjunction with Outlook.
We'll go over how to create to do lists and tasks so that when you're working on to do lists within OneNote, they also link back to your outlook so you can complete tasks in both areas. We'll go over managing outlook meeting details, and also sending notes via emails. And to assist you along the way. I've included the step by step instructions for the features.
