All right, so we are on week three today for our happiness course. And I'm so excited for this module because these are all the powerful activities that I do on a daily basis in my life to completely eliminate it and stop all of those negative thoughts. And I know that is something that all of us want to do is to be able to stop those negative thoughts because they're very built. Ability I can ever say that word Oh my goodness. Alright, so this is going to be nice and short and sweet, because I know that all you really need in this module is just these simple tasks. And I truly believe in having an activity that you can do that is not instantly, there's not any activity that you can do in your life that is going to change everything in just that one minute.

It's something that you have to want to do on a daily basis and you want to work towards every single In order to master this activity, so what we're going to be focusing on today is getting you in the driver's seat of your brain. We're going to be recalibrating your brain and being able to refocus your thoughts on the positive. We're going to be, I'm going to be giving you different distraction methods. So we'll dive right in. And one of the things I'm going to be sharing with you is all the different things you can ask yourself. So you know, when you're having a negative thought, you know, when you're thinking something that doesn't make you feel really good.

And that's what I want you to focus on during this module is acknowledging those thoughts that you're going to be having and there's a few different things that I want you to be asking yourself. So one of the things you can ask yourself is, do I want to feel this way? Do I want to feel this way? Chances are, you're going to say no. And if that is the case, you need to remove that thought. Another thing you can ask yourself is, how can I turn this around?

So a lot of the thoughts that you're having, even if it's something like you walk into a room and you're like you, I don't like the color of this room, or you look at the person and get the outfit that person's wearing just some random total out of the ordinary thought that you're having, you can acknowledge that and go wow, what am I thinking like? How can I turn this thought around? So look at the cover any, anything really like I shouldn't even have to give you examples on this because we know what it is that you're thinking and you know that you can turn that thought instantly around into something positive. So look at your circumstances, look at the thoughts that you're having, and shift them to positive there is always a way to shift at the positive like when I'm driving and I'm having Road Rage I am famous road rage in all honesty.

I hate school. I don't hate them. I strongly dislike school drivers and people don't use their turn signals. I mean, come on the turn signals right there, you literally flick your finger. But anyways, sidetrack, how can I turn this around. So find a way that you can shift your thoughts from negative to positive.

And there is always a way if you can't find something, you messaged me and I will find a way to make it happen. Because there's nothing that you can throw my direction that I will not be able to find the positive in there's always a good in every situation, because God puts us through things that we can all handle. And quite frankly, if he puts you through this really, really tough scenario. It's a compliment. It's a compliment of your strength. And I love to look at it that way because I've been through some pretty tough stuff.

So when I think of it like that, I'm like, Oh, thank you, Lord. Anyways, so Another thought you can ask yourself is, is this thought serving me? Is this thought going to change your life? Is this thought going to make your day go uphill? Is the thought going to make you go downhill? What is this thought doing for you right now?

And if it's not serving you, you need to let go of it. And another great question to ask and I love this question, because we think a lot of the negative thoughts we have are stuff that we actually cannot control. So something for example, jobs scenarios is a really, really common one. People getting layoffs that were people possibly getting fired, people maybe not getting chosen for the interview, not getting the grades that they want passing or failing a course whatever it is, are you directly involved Can you literally get into the situation right now and change the circumstance to what it is that you desire. If you cannot It's someone else that's making the decision for you. So I mean, like, I can do something at work, and I can think oh, my goodness, um, is my boss gonna like this?

Am I gonna get fired for doing this? What is she thinking right now? You don't know. So release that thought because the more you think about it, for all you know, they're going to give you a raise next week, they're going to promote you next week, you don't know because you're not directly involved in this scenario. So if you're not directly involved, just release it, bless and release that scenario altogether and just be okay with whatever happens because that's what you need to do. And another one is kind of similar is can I change this?

And can I change this is can I make changes to this? Can I ship this for the good? Can I ship this for the bad? Am I directly involved, it's the same thing. So you want to win. Your thoughts are you want to make sure that you are the driver and the thoughts that you're having.

And if you're not driving those thoughts, and you can't shift those thoughts, then you need to release them. Because those negative thoughts are more powerful and more impactful in your life than you can possibly imagine. And as soon as you put yourself in the driver's seat, your life will drastically change for the better, it will drastically change. And I say that not lightly because when I started doing activities that are in your workbooks for this week, when I started doing those activities, I can't even begin to express how much my life changed because when you have a thought, and you start recalibrating your brain and shifting your brain to acknowledge those thoughts, it's amazing what can happen. It is amazing what can happen because the more you train your brain and the It's a muscle, it's a muscle. When you train your brain to start focusing on the positive and releasing the negative, it happens more naturally and your life will shift exponentially, your life will shift more than you can possibly imagine.

So when you start to see the good in life, you start to see all the amazing things around you, you start to notice, hey, I'm having this thought, that's not so great. It's not serving me. I'm just gonna release it and you let go of it. So you have all those questions that you can ask yourself, but the main question is, is this a positive thought? Or is it a negative thought. And once you start to acknowledge that you can move into another method that I have, and I love this method, and it's the distraction method.

So I, I personally, I love the color yellow, yellow to me signifies happiness, joy. And I love to think of different things. So there's, you can say lemon, you can say, son, you can say Daisy, whatever it is you want to say. But try to find a word that brings joy into your life. That's one or two syllables because it's more powerful than the least amount of syllables that it has. So I want you to just take a deep breath, and just go, close your eyes and say, lemon, lemon, lemon, lemon.

And eventually, you're going to totally release that thought, because you're thinking, wow, what in the world am I doing right now? This is so ridiculous. And you're just going to instantly shift into a feeling of joy because you're laughing at yourself. You're laughing. You're gonna find yourself laughing at this simple activity is so powerful. It's just like when I tell my clients If you want to feel more confident, if you want to feel that instant shift of joy, whatever it is that you want to feel, go look at yourself in the mirror and say we'll say something like say, I'm confident, I'm strong, I'm fierce, I'm powerful, or even like, today's a great day.

Today's a great day. Today's a great day. Even if you say that over and over and over again, if you say that to yourself in the mirror, you feel ridiculous doing it, you can't help but smile and laugh at yourself. So that's kind of what I have for you today. Nice and short and sweet. But yeah, just recalibrate your brain, recalibrate those thoughts and start working on that muscle where you can transition those thoughts from negative to positive.

You can think about those thoughts and know this thought is not serving me so I need to release it. So I hope that this module helps you and I hope that you're able to start acknowledging those thoughts and get more confident doing
