Hey, this is coach Jose. And I want to welcome you to this course on quantify, quantify is also referred to as the cheat, permeating technique or sometimes the traversing energy method. So, this is a very very simple Qigong exercise, but it's exceptionally powerful. This is what I often describe as a tonifying Qigong and what that means is that it is used to create a balance in the body. So if you are suffering from high energy, stress, anxiety, high blood pressure, things like that, excessive young kind of conditions, this G Gong can help to bring your energy level back down to a normal state. Conversely, if your energy level is low things like depressed immune systems, Depression, lethargy, this can be used to raise your energy.
So the concept here is to try and find a nice balance in our body's energy and to create a very smooth flow of energy from top to bottom. This exercise is so simple, it can be done anywhere. And what we're going to do is we're going to use this very basic method, where our hands are used to help to facilitate the intention to allow the entity to move smoothly through. What we're going to use. First is three paths. And we'll talk about that in a moment.
But what we want to do is we want to use our mind to lead the energy smoothly through our body. Once you develop a smooth flow of energy and a good concept of how to move it, then you no longer really need to use your hands you can just use your mind to do this exercise. This exercise can be Standing, it can be done seated, it can actually be done lying down as well. But the beginning stages, it's always best to do this standing because it's going to help you to visualize the lines of energy a little bit better. And it creates a easier method for people to start moving and manipulating their energy. Once you get these concepts down, though, you can use it anywhere at any time.
Okay, this takes very little space. All you need is a place to either stand or sit. And that's it. No special clothing, no special equipment. Alright, so we're going to move on to some of the important points in our next video.
