I like to address often we don't encourage you to lay down because the state that you want to get you is somewhere between falling asleep and staying awake. You're lying down, it's a lot easier to fall asleep. So most of the time, I'll instruct you to sit cross legged. It's really important to route your thumb down into your neck and lengthen your spicing up in nice and tall. Pull your shoulder blades back and try to touch them on your back. Your hands can sit on your knees to the top 64 pops up.

If you're like me, I cannot sit cross legged without some props because what tends to happen I searched for the ground, my lower back and my shoulders roll for it. And after some time, my lower back is really uncomfortable. This is a meditation chair. The meditation chair has some padding on the back that helps give you something to lean against. I'll just demonstrate here how to use a meditation chair to lean back into support of the chair. You get the padding underneath you and your ankles are next is so not all meditation has to be done.

You can use the bolster just for some light to bring your hips up over your knees which actually helps to tilt your pelvis which naturally rounds the lower back are slower but allowing you to set up my simple but Another common question about meditation is periscopes.
