Welcome back to blogging masterclass. In this video, I'm going to talk about another great way to monetize your blog. Once you're getting some traffic once you've got some readers, another great way to monetize your blog is to actually capture those leads, and then start promoting these people through email. Other offers that come up that are relevant to your market. Okay, so if you've got a blog about health and fitness, you may try to sell someone with an ad on your blog, you may have an affiliate offer on your blog may have a link going to another offer on your blog. You might also just have a squeeze lead capture page on your blog, where maybe you give away a free piece of information.
Okay, so maybe you maybe go to one of these affiliate products, their JV page and they give you a free report that you can give away. Maybe just start giving that away as an incentive for people to sign up to your list. When people sign up to your list. Now you've got that person inside of your autoresponder like Aweber or get response or any of these autoresponders that allow you to communicate to a mass group of people with the click of a button. When you have these people inside your autoresponder list, not only do you have someone you can market to, but you've also got a segmented market because you can have multiple lists. Okay, so if someone were to sign up through your health and fitness blog, then now you're gonna have them inside your autoresponder as someone that is interested in health and fitness, okay, now there's also other ways to go in and kind of niche these people down even further and segment them more into more targeted buckets.
But the point is, is that now you have someone that you can market to over and over again as long as they stay on your list. Okay, so it's really easy to set this up on your blog to create a squeeze capture page that you can put on your blog, you can have one created for you from scratch and then use that code to put on your blog. And then I believe it's at $19 A month after that, and really capturing leads just going to provide a long term revenue opportunity. Most of the other opportunities we've talked about on your blog here are kind of short term kind of one and done. Somebody comes to your blog, they click on an ad, especially with Google AdSense, maybe you never see them again, okay. But with AWeber now you've got someone, you've got a list, now you're starting to build an actual asset, okay? Something that you can, somebody you can market to over and over again, you can sell that list for money. So there's really all kinds of things you can do here.
So I really recommend that you put a squeeze page or a lead capture page on your blog. And once again, we got a really quick simple process here for you. It's very easy to do. Basically, all you do is go back into your WordPress blog. You just go to Appearance, and then click on widgets. And then you just put that text widget that's already comes on your WordPress account.
Just put that in the site. bar, then you're going to log into a Weber over@aweber.com and create your account if you haven't done so yet. And then you're going to create your AWeber form. Okay? So your AWeber form is basically going to be that form that people see that you can put whatever you want in lets people know that, hey, if you give me your name and email, I'll give you this free report, whatever it is, once you do that, they're going to give you a JavaScript. Now once you have that JavaScript, you just go back to your WordPress account, plop that right there in the textbox and click Save and bam, you've got an autoresponder right on the sidebar of your blog, people can now come in, they can read your blog, if they want more information and give you their email.
Now you've got a customer and somebody that you can market to over and over and over and really, you know, building a big list is kind of the secret to internet marketing. It's really a way to leverage your all your time and energy to create that customer that you can continue to promote to because it's a lot less expensive to keep a customer than it is to go find new customers, okay, so it's a lot easier, it takes a lot less energy and takes a lot less money to just find a customer, treat them right deliver them good information. And, you know, give them great products that they can use to solve their problems than it is to continue to go out and try to find new people. So you're going to want you're going to want to do both is all I'm trying to say here.
