Hello, this is your host Habib Korea and this is continuation of the topic dmvpn. In this topic today, we will discuss about implementing dmvpn between all the sites using dynamic mappings. In our previous topic, we talked about phase two of the dmvpn, but we have used static mappings, this is actually more enhanced than it is dynamic mappings. This is again phase two. This is basically sort of gives you an idea of how to implement the dmvpn in different ways and what will be the best choice for you and for your organization and to implement this kind of a solution. So, as you know this is a continuation from the previous topic.

So, we will go to r1 there will be some changes in the tunneling configurations of the dmvpn and so on. Let's start by going into r1. But the base configuration always remains the same, which is basically configuring the interface. tunnel IP address remains the same. The changes only happen on the IP n HRP configuration and the tunnel mode configuration. Okay, here we are in r1.

Let's check the configuration of the tunnels show running config tunnel one. The configuration of r1 tunnel one always stays the same because it's already configured in the in a tunnel mode, which is a gra multipoint. And we don't do any change at this point. So We will go to our two we're just bringing up the AR two who will do show running config interface tunnel one. Now we do see some Static Maps in the r two configuration from previous lecture as you can see and we have to remove these static mappings except for the one that is reaching the hub the other two can be removed from each router. So, we are going to do changes in the tunnel one interface Oh dude, no IP and HRP map 10 dot 100 dot 103 172 dot 16 dot three dot three.

We will remove the mappings for the router for as well. We will add IP nh RP and HS the IP address towards r1 10 to 100 200 dot one which is the next hop server IP address. It's an HRP. My apologies. There you go. Now let's double check the configuration for channel one.

Now we have everything set up here properly for interface channel one, and it looks good. Let's move to our three. Let's save the configuration first. Never forget to save your configuration freeze up, show running config interface tunnel one and we will do exactly the same thing we did for in order to remove the static mappings except the static mapping that is going to too. It's exactly the same configuration as we did in our two remotes Static Maps to our four and we will add next hop. next hop servers IP address which is IP and HRP, NHS 10 to 100 101 Now this is looking good.

We'll just exit and verify the configuration. Let's go to our four we'll definitely verify to see if there will be a dmvpn tunnel established between the routers. Once the configuration for our four is done so we will repeat the same process in our for no IP and HRP map. We removing the Static Maps to our two and we will remove the Static Maps to our three We will also add the IP nh RP NHS 10 dot hundred dot 100 dot one that's pointing to NFS r1 that's exit and save it now the configuration is all completed we will jump to the hub router and see if we can we can check the tunnels are established. Going to r1 do a show dmvpn And that's good. We see all the routers.

We can see the N BMA address is overlaid by the tunnels address. And we can test by pinging the interfaces for the routers that tunnel IP addresses for those routers. Let's go to our two. If we look to our to and do show IP and HRP and it has stablished one tunnel and if I do show dmvpn and I see there's only one tunnel in our two But if we start pinging the other spoke routers that's ping are for pinging 10 to 100 100 or four. And it's pinging. That's great.

Now if I do show dmvpn, I can see it stablished two tunnels. I'm thinking 10 to 100 204. And if I do trace route and the pinging is going directly to our floor directly So this shows that I created a tunnel only when it's needed to reach our four. This is a great feature for this type of configuration and it's very helpful to see that the tunnels are created between the spokes dynamically, I hope this video was beneficial. And in and the next topic we are going to discuss dmvpn phase three. Please join me and we will conclude dmvpn
