Hi Hello again, this is your host Habib's Korea. And in this lab I'm going to show you how to configure dynamic mappings to get the dmvpn working, this is still part of phase one, which means that all this books will communicate with the hub directly, but spoke to spoke cannot communicate with each other directly yet. So in my first lab or video, prior to this one, in that one we have implemented dmvpn between the four sites. And we build the same topology basically. And we configure the static mappings for all the tunnels and we tested the dmvpn but in this lab, we will modify all the interfaces on the router tunnels, which is tunnel one interface Add each router, and we will use dynamic mappings instead of the static mappings that we had previously. So there is a little bit of a modification that we need to do on the, on the tunnel interfaces.

So let's get going. I could say that this is a dmvpn which is a little bit more enhanced than the first lab that we that we went through initially. Let's start by going and bringing up this switch which is our internet ISP clouds which we are assuming that switch is our internet ISP cloud and we have already assigned the interfaces and the IP addresses for those interfaces which is gigs zero slash one gig zero slash two gigs, and gigs zero slash zero gigs, one slash zero. We are just starting our one as well and we are going to the console of our one We'll try to make the font bigger. That is better. Let's go just check the interfaces that are in r1 already configured.

We have a tunnel configured there already. We will check the tunnel configuration first. There's not much change that we have to do in the tunnel one. Yeah. The IP address is already configured there. tunnel mode is already configured GRP multi point this is already configured.

So the reason why this is tunnel one is configured because I removed this static mappings. So, that's just to bring it to this level. That's all we needed to do in r1. Basically, let's go to our to just bringing up the console for our two and we're just Adjusting the font right now. We'll do show IP interface brief. There's already a tunnel configured there.

Let's see what's configuring the tunnel show running config interface tunnel one. As you can see the tunnel is configured here, but we will make an adjustment. The IP and HRP NHS make that change over there. IP we're basically removing no IP and HRP and Hs 10 dot 100 dot one dot one We will switch that to IP and HRP NHS. So basically what we did in our two tunnel in one is basically we pointed it to the to the tunnel interface of, of r1 and we are going to r1 right now and we will see the config if there is a dmvpn tunnel created. So, show dmvpn I will complete just to confirm there's a tunnel created.

Let's go to our three Cow go to the console here. Just the defaults show IP interface brief tunnel one. Here to I've already done the configuration of the tunnel one. And I've already added the IP and HRP NHS 10 dot 110 100 dot one IP n HRP map configuration was removed and replaced by IP nh RP NFS 10 dot hundred to 100 dot one. So basically this should have established the tunnel Already in with r1. Let's go and check.

So if I do show dmvpn as I can see, there's a tunnel established there already with our three. Let's start with our, let's bring up our for next console into our four men get closer back into our four here. Let's check the IP interface brief. There's already a tunnel there. Show running config interface tunnel one and there you go. We still have the configuration there, but we don't have So we do have a static mappings from our previous lap in their IP and HRP map configuration and that will be changed to IP and address.

This was basically configured from previous video 10 to one basically removing this Static Map from here from tunnel one we are adding we're adding IP nh RP NFS. We are pointing it to the dmvpn IP address of router one. Sorry, the tunnel interface IP address of router one and we will exit that Let's verify the configuration for tunnel one. That looks good. Let's verify if dmvpn has established and r1 can see all the tunnels or all the three sites. And yes r1 can see all the three sites.

Let's do some quick verification. And let's ping the tunnel interfaces for the other side's ping 10 dot 200 dot 200 dot two dot three. got four and yes, we can ping off The sights let's try the same thing from our for paying 10 dot hundred dot hundred dot one which is towards r1. We're pinging r1 that's Pink Dot two. We are pinging dot two we are pinging r three as well. So in this video we have established the dmvpn using dynamic mappings.

I hope you have enjoyed the video and we will continue in our next topic. Pick which is phase two
