This is our final section. This is where you're going to start implementing the seven day diet plan. Now, the reason why I created a seven day diet plan for you, is to give you an idea of how you can make food and prepare a couple different things and eat off of them a couple times during the week. And that can be an easy way to make healthy eating and healthy cooking a part of your daily regimen that's not stressful and difficult. Now this is just a sample and you can use it to see how you put in carbohydrates and proteins and healthy fats into your breakfast, your lunch and your dinner menus and your snacks as well. And then once you get the hang of it, you can actually keep doing the seven day plan over and over again.
You can start to swap out one thing or Another thing to actually, you know, give you some variations or you can get bold, and you can try to do it all on your own with the information that we've provided to you here. So you have so many options. Now there are two different options of eating plants. The first option is a combination of animal protein and plant based. And the reason why I do that is because in my practice, I've had lots of patients that are like, I can eat more plants, which happens to be the name of my book, but I'm not eating all plants. And because I want this to be something that's really helpful and supportive to you and giving you the option of doing a combination.
You'll find that combination is very similar to a paleo diet. And the reason why I recommend this for you to think about is because it gives you some other options of different diets and recipes that you can look up websites that you can find that will give Have you some ideas about how you can continue on after the first seven days, it's actually really easy. It does take you a little bit to actually look at what are three ounces of your particular animal protein. And how much is two thirds cup or one third cup or whatever the vegetable regimen is that I recommend for you for your breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. But once you get the hang of it, and once you see what it looks like on your plate, it becomes very simple to be super successful at that plan. Now, I don't want to leave out the other plan, which is the eat more plants totally vegetarian plan, and you have that as an option as well.
There is good scientific research behind people having a totally plant based diet and they're still able to bounce their blood sugars, even though they're eating about 80% carbohydrates about 10% protein and About 10%, healthy fats, and then you still can have really tremendous results. My only requirement is that you choose one or the other. Don't start mixing, combining, because then you're throwing off the balances. And you might not find the success that you want in terms of getting the numbers for your blood sugar's that you're trying to get. And so, here you go, you get to choose one or the other. You have them both, maybe you do one week, doing a combination and one week doing totally plant based and see which one works best for you.
Utilize all the resources that are provided to you and use the handouts. I also have some recipes for you that you can pick and choose to make the sample menus easier for you to actually complete and realize that you don't have to do all cooking on your own. You can find a really suitable replacement that's healthy And you can order that or you can go to your, you know, specialty market that has your healthy foods, whether it's proteins, carbohydrates, and fat, and use that if you're not a person that's going to cook it on your own. In fact, you can even find substitutes in restaurants that will still meet the requirements. So it's really just up to you and your personal creativity. Have fun with it, and use the fun sheet that you've created.
And use the handouts that you've created to give you ideas about different types of vegetables, or proteins or healthy fats that maybe you haven't thought about or haven't used in a while, but you're willing to be open and to try. You're going to enjoy this process. I've tried to make it as simple as possible. And if you have questions, just go to the discussion, type it in and I will respond. So keep up the good work. Use the handouts that you have and enjoy The process right, be open to enjoying the process.
And I will see you in the next module where we're going to start exercising
