Hey, it's Dr. Day and welcome to module number five. In this module, we're going to be talking about sleep. And its importance to your overall health. So we're going to talk about sleep and why it's important and some of the hormones that are integral to our sleeping process. We're going to talk about when you don't actually get good sleep and your sleep deprived what happens, the quality and the quantity of sleep and why that is important. And then we'll talk about solutions, like how you can create sleep rituals, how you can have certain tests done, to check in with your sleep.
And all of that is important because sleep actually impacts your blood sugar levels and your health depending on if you get a nap. So let's jump on in to our very first module about sleep.
