Join me for a class in creating a handmade journal by repurposing a pair of jeans. In today’s class, we’ll create 2 no-sew denim journals, with an emphasis on repurposed materials.

What will you learn in this course?

• You will learn to create a professional-looking journal, by recovering an unwanted hardcover book with denim fabric that we find on an old pair of jeans in method 1. Using this method, you can further repurpose materials, by filling the pages with book paper, ledger paper, notebook paper, and other papers from the recycling bin. Or, you can add paper or fabric of your choice to fill the pages as you see fit
• You will learn to use the repurposed denim fabric to make a book cover and then is filled with whatever page materials you like in method 2. This journal is free form and lends itself to a variety of sizes. You can fill the pages with more denim fabric or use paper pages. There’s a myriad of possibilities to make this journal your own.
