So the stretch exercise really just follows on from what I explained with the strength exercise and the fact that we are short and tight in through the chest here. So that's why someone's like you need to have better posture. And then someone says, Okay, I need to sit up straight, they have to push their chest forward like this, in order to get try and get themselves into good posture. And then they sit like that for a couple of minutes. And then the LS tissa T of the tissue pulls you forward gradually over time. That's why I have to keep catching your posture all the time.
And just so you know, I'm not encouraging this as a correction for posture whatsoever. Instead, what we're going to do is we're going to release the tension in through the pecs here, so that when you do that, the shoulders sit naturally. Imagine that if you strengthen the back You stretch the front. Now the shoulder can sit nice in alignment by itself without you having to do anything to at all. And that's kind of the key here is that you don't have to be thinking about posture all the time, it's more subconscious, and your body does it naturally. even get on with your work, contributing to society and making the money that you want to make and achieve your career goals.
Whereas if we keep following through with this kind of positioning, you're not going to last too long in what you're trying to do. Trust me, here in downtown San Francisco, Silicon Valley. I'm working with this all the time. So you're looking to stretch this short tie component in through the front there as a way of correcting this shoulder posturing, which if it pulls, tie it through here, you can see that nice rounding for that mid back pain. Now all this tissue has to clamp up and get upset and angry at you for doing that through there. Enjoy the exercise
