Hi, welcome back to 20 moves in 20 days. Today we're going to talk about devil pays. All right, so you've learned so many different movements at the bar. Here's one of the very last ones that you'll learn in this course. Today it's the devil pay. What we're going to do is go through a bunch of different positions with our legs, and then extend to a nice, beautiful line.

So we go through our couldn't be a position here. So we appeal offer but foot from the ground here. Go through kPa, then Tourettes, hooray. Now we're going to go through a position that's called attitude. And attitude is a bent leg, it's extended front side or back either which way and then I'm going to fully straighten my leg point and close show you to the side as well. So we have CUDA, pa read to re attitude, extend point close, I think back Kuda, pa Red tear a attitude, extend point closed, same thing side, could it be a red t re extend point and close.

Okay, so now I was demonstrating at 90 degrees traditionally these are done at 90 degrees or higher. However, again, don't feel bad if your legs not there yet. That's what we're building up towards. So feel free to lower your leg a little bit. What we want to really focus on is going through all those positions. So going from that to pa through recce attitude, extend Tom Do you enclose.

Now, again, normally, we don't break it down quite that much. So a normal double pay is going to have much more of a smooth flow to it as opposed to position position, position position. So this is what it's going to look like normally. The front we're going to go, one and two and three and four side and two, and three, and four to the back to three, and four, and side. Two, three, and four. Okay.

So again, what matters is getting through all those positions. So you do want to have a nice correct turnout nice Craig's legs, but the height of your leg at this point does not matter. Okay, one other thing to think about when we're doing double pays is, of course and again, you know, I'm going to talk about this quite a bit is our turnout, right? So it doesn't have to be flat. That's not the point when we talk about turnout. What it does need to be though is to the best of your ability.

So when we go from our could a PA to our rescue a normally First of all, let's talk about this for just one second. Normally, in the couldn't be position you have a decent amount of turnout, but most people have even more When they go to red here a so this can be flatter. So if I were for instance to go straight from my could be a to my Richard without engaging my turnout as much as I could it would end up here, right but I have this so I want to make sure that I'm using all of that. So really feeling like you were bringing your knee back. Okay. Now from here, I'm going to extend I am still making sure that I'm turned out my knees towards audience, my heel is not and that my hip is not lifting so I still want to keep everything aligned, and then straighten and then close.

Same thing to the side. Sometimes in an effort to get our leg higher. We tend to do this. Very incorrect. We want to be careful to keep those hips steadying still, and then extend underneath it. So I have this crease in my hip right here.

That's what I want to focus on. Extend point close. Same thing to the back. really thinking about this is all of my turnout. I don't want to drop my knee. This is my dream.

Turn out. I'm going to extend point and close. Alright, so what I would encourage you to do is do a little combination for yourself, like we did a few minutes ago. So go front, side, back side, do it twice through, making sure that you're utilizing all of your current positions. Do it on both sides. And then you will have worked on and learned your devil paste for today.
