Gold Agile Performance Holarchy© Training.
An agile framework-agnostic agile course that helps people supercharge their team, department, or organization to be agile.
Here's what the course looks like
Session 1: Understand and level set Agile Values and Principles
We all need refreshers from time to time to ensure that we are on the right path. No different than reviewing the rules of a game.
We go over the Manifesto for Agile Software Development, where it all began. Discuss some common misconceptions and how the agile mindset has evolved outside of software delivery.
Session 2: The Architecture to achieving agility in any area
The agile mindset is not solely for software development. Over the past two decades, there was a narrow mindset that agile delivery was only a technology thing. Organizations are starting to see the benefit it has with Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, and more.
With any build, it is only as good as it’s the foundation. There must be robust architecture behind it.
Session 3: It all starts here: Leadership and Performance
It can make it a difficult one in any team journey without the right leadership and performance behaviours.
We will go into more detail about the architecture’s six interconnected components. We will discuss and understand how they are connected and provide value to each one. We will begin to see how the agile mindset has value for any department within an organization.
Session 4: Without a good map, the journey will encounter obstacles
Understanding where everyone needs to go is essential in any journey. Without it, two things will happen.
Understanding the beginning and end of any journey is essential.
Session 5: Now we get to build something and make sure teams are keeping with the agile mindset
Now we get into the behaviours needed to build the expected value. Regardless of what the output is: Software, Marketing campaign, Widgets. A team with the right mindset can make anything of high value.
The interconnectedness of each week’s topic will become more transparent, and you will have a better understanding that “Being Agile” is more than just having a framework in place.
Session 6: Understanding the team dynamic
The previous five sessions have to lead up to this: Teams. Understanding a self-managed team's behaviours and actions to work separately and remain in sync with all other groups has exponentially more value than the traditional “Command and Control” way most continue to operate.
