Hello, this is Rob here from Rob coming calm and I have gotten more great ideas for your content now. be different. Don't be afraid to go outside the moral majority's opinion or the prevailing opinion on something within your niche. There's nothing worse than aping or imitating just what gurus and experts are already saying, it's not going to help anybody. If you do have an opinion that differs from other people's, then be proud of it. You have that opinion for a reason.
What's the reason you have that opinion? Is it your experience? Give your experience? I'm sure it's valid. The problem with the prevailing opinions is that the experts in inverted commas tend to sit in an echo chamber where all other people just imitate what they say and very quickly These ideas get warped and hackneyed and overdone, so it is often quite easy to be different and to be right. So don't be afraid to be contrarian and say things that you feel to be right.
But a different from what's being said elsewhere. Now be genuinely helpful. Now, I'm not talking about being helpful with your content. That's a given, you've got to create valuable content that will help others. However, there are other ways to be genuinely helpful, that will really set you apart and really creates a fantastic brand around you or your business. And that is if you just give freely of your talents.
Now you must be good at something. That's why you want to create content. So whatever you're good at, you can offer to do it to people for free. Now, I'm not saying you should do this to everyone, everyone who phones you up, but you can get in touch with an infant Or an expert and say, I'm offering five free websites redesigns to five lucky members of your audience, just ask them in an email or share this on one of your social channels. And I'll get along and do it. And if they believe that that would be a great service, but they're following, then they will be happy to share that.
And it will improve your reputation in that area. If anyone emails you and asks you a question, you must answer it and answer it very well, because you are an expert and people expect the best from experts. So it's very important that you do get back to everybody who emails you with a genuine question. But also always be thinking of opportunities where you can offer help, whether it's on somebody else's blog, somebody else's podcast, or somebody else's social media. A channel and just be genuinely helpful to anyone who needs it within your industry. And lastly, I've got to say that human beings love stories.
Now, I think it's great to write technical information that's very specific and very helpful to people. But that information might get a bit dry. So you need to mix it up with something that everybody loves reading, and everyone loves a story. So try and make your content more interesting. Try to see if you can turn it into a story. And the best way you can do that is with your story.
So don't be afraid to tell your story and make it as honest as possible. tell people where you've come from. Tell people the mistakes you've made, as long as you can tell them the solutions that you've used to get from A to B. And people will really identify with stories and now identify even more with your story. A personal story. And that really is a great content idea.
So I hope you found these ideas very useful. My name is Rob from Rob cabin.com. I'll see you in the next video.
