Hello, hello, there, a new feature I'm going to talk to you about is replacing clips. And what it does is replace media content from your timeline with content with new content or updated content that you add to your media browser. So this feature came at the perfect moment because one of the online platforms where I publish my courses, requested that I rebrand my intros and outros in order to remove a link to my website. So what I did was I opened the keynote file, the source file where I created the intros and outros, remove that link and exported the new pictures. After that I added the pictures to the media browser. And now the only thing I had to do in ScreenFlow was to right click on the picture from the timeline and click Replace me replace media, select the new media file, which is usually the last one in in there, and voila, it's replaced.
And it maintains all the properties and effects that you already did in the previous picture. So as I said, this is great for rebranding. And also, it's very useful when you have for example, a finished video, like course presentation maybe and you suddenly figure out Wow, I can redo a little part of the video and just it will have a great effect it will have it will double the impact of that video and you will redo the club clip and instead of moving the new clip adding all the effects again etc, etc you just click Replace clip All defects stay there. So enjoy using this new and much needed feature
