Morning, or at least icy morning from my window you can be in the middle of the night. Well, back to ScreenFlow. In this video I'm going to talk to you about the multi channel audio mixer. Because now ScreenFlow can recognize and record multiple audio channels from USB mixers. I don't have a USB mixer. So I'm going to show you this fit for weed.
Two channels, the basic ones. Alright, here is the video. And if we go to its audio options, and we click on audio mix, we see that we have an S button here. This is for soul. Basically it's a preview feature which mutes all the other channels in the mix. So if you click on it, you will only hear that particular channel.
Note that this is not saved in the document. It's just a preview so you can better understand what's happening with your Audio Hmm. The solid button is mutually exclusive. So, if a channel is already sold and you click on another different channel, then it will the first channel will cease to be sold and the new channel will become sold. Alright, so, the control next to the Solo is the pan button. The band function in the audio mixer determines how much of the channel is mixed to the left and right channels of the final mix.
So, when the pan control is in the middle, zero percent, the input channel is mixed equally to both left and right output channels when the pan is at minus 100%. So all the way to the left, the input channel is being mixed only to the left output channel. If it is 100% all the way to the right. Obviously the input channel is being mixed to the right output channel. Only two If the pen is set to blah, blah, blah blah, this is mathematics. So, what you should also know is that this set up emulates the earlier ScreenFlow behavior of having the left where the left input channel is sent to the left output channel and the right input channel is set to the right output channel.
So, also the mix to monitor feature has been removed, because this functionality can be just achieved with the audio mixer span feature. Or right we have another feature under our belt what's next
