To use the video properties click on the first icon on the Properties panel. You can change video properties for the entire clip or for a specific duration. To change the properties for the entire clip, just click on the clip and play with the properties. We have scale with which we can scale the clip position relative to the center point of the preview. You can also rotate the clip on the X, Y or Z axis. Then you can play with opacity cropping, either reflection underneath the clip or the shadow.
We also have color controls. If you want to have black and white video of black and white video you can reduce the saturation for example, you can add video filters, try stylize calming effect, and to remove the filter just click on the X. If you split a clip into and you're editing the first part, the edits won't reflect on the second, a quick way to scale and position the second clip is to create Paste the values in the first one in the second to the second one. You can also edit the properties for a specific part of the video. Put the scrubber on the part of the clip where your changes need to have already happened and click on add video action. A yellow box will appear on the clip reflecting duration of the transition from the initial settings to your specific modifications.
You can drag the yellow box or lengthen it if you put the opacity to zero percent or 50%. The opacity will decrease when the video arrives at the yellow box, and we'll arrive at your desired number when it exits the yellow box. If you want to add a video action and then reverse it, add two yellow boxes and do the modifications between them. Then when the video hits the second yellow box, it will undo your modification. You can add a video action on text boxes too which is useful when you want to create a special effect like a moving text
