We all have common phrases that we've picked up from our families and cultures that are nothing more than excuses by becoming aware of them, questioning them and changing the way we view the underlying fears behind them. We can change the way we think and empower ourselves when you catch yourself saying, but it's a signal that you're about to make an excuse for why you're not living your life the way you want, on purpose. catch yourself and rephrase your excuses into a positive affirmation that can help you stay committed. So here's some examples of common buts that people use Do you use any of these one, but it's too hard to but it will take too long. Three, but I don't have time for But it's too risky, or five, but it's overwhelming.

For each excuse that you commonly use, what you can do is think about or write a positive affirmation statement. So here's an example instead of, I don't have time, say, I make time for things that are important to me, turn it around on yourself and you'll feel better about it.
