So here I have the first page. My next page is my folder. And I'll tuck some things in there as I make them and see fit. The following page for me is just a piece of drawing paper. So take that out. And I'm going to start and again trying to stay positive and, and look at the bright side of things and also going forth in life to remain calm.
I'm going to make a list a grateful list of things I'm grateful for right now today, not worrying about it being super important or super intellectual, but of right the rightful up top. Just quickly put it down on paper with a very light hand and I can go over this and change it if I'm feeling that I want it to be a little nicer. But then I'm just going to make a series of lines. I think they're a little I like the the curve of them, but they're the spacing isn't quite right. So I have it just like this think I'll change this one. And now for each thing underneath the line in between that section that I made, I'm going to include something that I'm grateful for.
So of course families, the first thing that comes to mind, I'm just going to sketch it in. And I'm just going to try and make the letters fit inside these strange sections that I made. It's kind of an easy task, and I can really play with it and relax while I'm doing it. So we've had really great weather here, and that's been a bonus. So I'm not fighting the cold or anything as well, in addition to some of the stressors that we're under, so include that. Some other things and I just start listing.
Again, this is just a relaxing process. It's not supposed to be complex. Just it helps me to see stay grounded and reminds me of the good things in life, my neighbors and then my family scattered throughout. So I love that we can text throughout the day and night. And then from here, I'll just go over it with a pen playing around, maybe tidying it up a bit as well. Since my first layer was done in pencil, I can alter it if I think it's way off, or it's not balanced.
Now's my chance to fix that. And then I can decide what I want to do if I want to add some colored pencil or some marker and I base that off of the paper that I'm using. You could also make a bulleted list. You could make a list and make the bullets different shapes can really have fun with it. It doesn't have to be this process. This is just one idea.
Prompts to get you started. And then from here, I can erase all my marks. I'm going to write grape full as well. I like to have headers for each page. Not only does it help me as I'm creating it, but when I go back through it and read it, I find it very rewarding to see that. Oh, erase my marks.
And now you can decide here if you want to put those marks back in or if you like just the way it looks without the marks. I kind of like it without those lines. And then from here, I'll just take some colored pencils, and maybe I'll go over some of these words alternating the colored pencils for each line. I like the way the black comes through, and then it kind of has a glow from the colored pencils. So from here, I just finished going over all the letters and I'm alternating the colors. And for this layout, I've stuck to a blue and a teal color and I like the way that looks so I just continue with it.
And then I have my completed page. If I want to I can go in there and add some illustrations or some little cartoons but for now I'm happy with it.
