Hello, this is Rob coven. Now, here are some WordPress backup plugins that I recommend. And I will give you the pros and cons of each. So the first one is Updraft Plus now Updraft Plus is the one I probably would recommend to you all, although I have been having some problems in getting it to work with Drive and Dropbox at the moment. But other people say that this is a really good plugin, so I have no hesitation in recommending it. The free version allows you to backup to Drive and Dropbox and there is a premium version as well.
But check out the free version and see if you can get it to work most people do but I have some other options for you. Now there's full press by automatic. This I'm afraid is not free. It's bundled with jetpack, which has an extremely popular WordPress plugin. That you have to buy a subscription for, but has a lot of really great features, including website security scans, although of course, you can get those through the wordfence free plugin. However, as it's bundled with jetpack, this is an extremely powerful plugin.
So it will cause issues with resources on your website. So it might take up too many resources and then slow down websites that are not hosted on extremely expensive hosting. So this is an option to use if you really want jetpack. Backup buddy is another premium solution, you have to buy this one. But as it's a premium solution, it should be pretty easy to use. And a lot of people swear by backup buddy.
And of course, it will upload to all the major cloud storage services. The last one is the one I'm using in the next video. It's the one I personally use. It's totally Free for backing up to Dropbox. So it backs up to my Dropbox on the cloud. And automatically my Dropbox backups in my computer locally.
So I have backups sheduled, all of these plugins sheduled backups, so you can just set it and forget it. I have backups scheduled every week or every day you can choose when you want the backups, and you can keep as many as you want. So is really a great solution. Regardless of any of these however much you want to spend on the plugin or what cloud storage solution you're using. I do advise you strongly to backup your WordPress sites using plugins to cloud storage solutions and to your local computer. Because if you get any problem with any size, restoring from backup will solve that problem.
It's as simple as that. As long as you know if you've been hacked when you were hacking. If you go back into the point of time before you were hacked, and you patch the vulnerability, then that is the end of your problem. So no matter what you do to your website, if you have backups in place, then you will be fine in any scenario. My name is Rob carbon I'll see in the next video and in the next video I will be demonstrating back WP up the free backup solution plugin on WordPress.
