What's going on guys, Zach while here, welcome to another episode of skate school. In today's episode we're going to be covering the bare basics is pretty guys out there that are just getting started. Today we're going to be teaching you how to ride your skateboard, the best way to ride and how to find out what state you are. So grab your state board and let's get started. First, you want to determine what stance you are. So when you grab your skateboard and naturally put your front foot on it, whether you put your right foot first, or your left foot first determines whether you are regular stance or goofy stance.
Regular stance is where your left foot is first. Goofy stance is where your right foot however, naturally feels best is how you should ride. Place whatever feels most comfortable right on top of the boat on the front of your skateboard. Place your back foot right behind the back bolts of your skateboard in between the pocket of your tail. Be faced forward but be slightly turned to whatever direction you're facing. Make sure your shoulders are centered.
When stepping down to push put all of your weight on your front foot on the front bolts of your skateboard while taking your back foot off, and gently pushing up. Practice pushing, riding and balancing while cruising on your skateboard. Use your front foot to direct where you want to go. Shift your weight from your heels to your toes to go left or right in turn. For stopping, hang your back foot slightly off the edge of your skateboard, dragging it across the ground to come to a slow stop cruising around and to completely feel comfortable riding your skateboard. Last but not least, learn how to pop your skateboard up into your hand for a quick stuff.
All right, guys, now you've mastered the basics. Time to take it to the streets. Learn some tricks. And most of all, have fun. Thanks for watching guys. Don't forget
