This is going to be the topic. That's the most uncomfortable, I think from all the topics we're going to be talking about. But it is one of the key topics. stuff and initially really good title for this Sex, drugs and rock and roll, rock and roll because that is part of life on the road. Okay, do you want to share your story? I'm not exactly the beginning That's for me.

Now if it doesn't happen to us, it will definitely happen to one of our roommates or even bunk bed me. And then the whole bed is shaking. And I spent two weeks when the couple was doing it fine under me. And I was in the telephone. And I asked them to please do it with a nice rhythm so I can fall asleep to it. So we laugh about this now, but everything time it was a bit uncomfortable, because I didn't have a lot of hospital experience.

And I was faced with this intimacy right in my face. And then shopping. Exactly. And that may have occurred once I didn't see anything. But over a year you see so much. It's not even funny.

After a while. I felt like the more time I spent with a lot of strangers in the room, the less I was intimidated. So if I wanted to go to the bathroom at night, and I didn't have my pajamas on, I just went anyway, because I did because after a while, I didn't care. I was like, I've seen these people the night before partying and they were naked on top of some bar. What you don't do. I've seen it all this but this way.

Extreme traveling. Exactly. Because I had a quite different experience. I mean, honestly, yeah. When you go to the hospitals, when you travel in general, you will get drunk. A lot of the time, you'll spend time having dinner going to bars going out.

Things happen beneath you, next to you, in different parts of the room or us. One big sex orgy, no, but you know, for people who are very sensitive, you need to be aware that this is something that you might come across during the troubles. But funny made a nice fun point where she said that you kind of get used to it. It's no longer taboo. No, and it's not supposed to be because the way I feel it, even though it's very intimate, and many would argue that check into a private room, go to the hotel, but when you're in the heat of the moment, and be traveling for so long, or maybe you're even intoxicated or you took some something, you don't really care and you count on the fact that other people are more understanding. Because we are all travelers were exhausted.

We just do what we feel. And I did find a lot of people were being very understanding. And I'm not talking about my personal experience. I mean, there were a couple was reading underneath. I don't care if you guys do it, I'm happy that you found someone to have fun with. Because it is difficult to have that long term, relatively long term, intimate, great moment with someone when you're sharing with 10 people.

I really have no experience whatsoever in that department. But I did get drunk a lot, which was also fun. Definitely. And also when you travel countries, there are other drugs and substances are available, you might want to try them. This is something that I don't have experience with, to be honest, but not necessarily taking them but I did see other people taking that and I saw it being so available. Now.

This was shocking. It was a culture shock. The first time I arrived in Columbia. I was at my hospital and there Was this Colombian guy offering cocaine from his backpack. And I thought to myself, I've never seen powder in my entire life coming out of backpacking Open Street. So it was shocking.

But then I learned to live with it because I saw that it's part of the culture, it's part of the everydays. And I cannot bring my judgmental European Eastern European way of thinking, I have to let it go, because it is what it is. And no one is forcing me to be there. And unless I want to live with this accepted, and these will enjoy it as much as I can. I couldn't let cocaine into my system, but I could enjoy the fact that it's so free. It's so open minded.

And so my relationship changed towards drugs and alcohol and sex because it was part of traveling. So there's no point in trolling around this. Traveling means having a good time and having a good time. In most of the cultures means having food, wine. or different sorts of alcohol, or drugs, going out dancing and just letting it go and just being in the moment, and yes, sometimes the next day, you might feel a little bit of regrets next to having a massive hangover. Hence my little salty sodium solutions that I carry around everywhere.

But it's part of the journey. Do you do it every day? No, please don't. Because otherwise you will exhaust yourself. It's not sustainable, you will find that out along the way as well. But it's part of it.

In a way it is a taboo because everybody thinks that when we're traveling, we're angels discovering the world and looking for ourselves. But what we sometimes just do is take a load off and just be in the moment. And to be honest, from my experience, because we are all in the same boat, we're all searching for the same thing. It connects us easier. So when it comes to dating, let's say when I'm going through my dating app, when I'm single, I find it difficult to find someone who's really interesting but When I'm in a hospital surrounded by people who are having the time of their life who have this great energy or looking for answers, who have similar experiences me, it's so easy to meet someone that I live long story short, we have to let go of some of our bond boundaries, even if not for ourselves, but for others because it can make everybody uncomfortable if we are being so we're carrying all this prejudice and we are trying to be so proof because first of all, no one forces us to sleep in a room with 10 other people.

But if you're going to you have to accept that there will be consequences sometimes. I'm not saying that, that every day this happened. But I see that maybe once a month, I've seen something or heard something that could have been uncomfortable, but I can't care about this so much and I'm so invested emotionally and I might as well check myself in a private room. So we have to accept it, let it go and let a new experience to come in and influence you in a positive way. Try to make the most of it Exactly like this shooting, emotion and motion of rocking the bunk beds. What about hygiene?

I think one of the most shocking things I've done is pulling in nature. I know this is weird, and I can't believe that I'm going to share this on a video. Yeah, I think I've I've been known for being kind of uproots. And when I was hiking, and you're in nature for more than three days, you don't have the luxury of toilets. You just have your backpacks and food and attendance. So if you need to go you need to go wherever there's a bush available to go.

So for me that was the first couple of times a mental block or a mental boundary that I had to overcome. Yes, and it comes to every toilet situation. Because especially for ladies we have the time of the month that could be difficult, but my train was used to carry the wet wipes with me wherever I went, because I was hitchhiking a lot. So having a toilet available was a luxury it was, it was an expectation too high. But this is just one area of hygiene also, the way I feel that when I was close to hot tropical environment and then I had the sandy beach I felt much cleaner even though I sweat it all day. But first of all, and I'm I can't believe I'm gonna say this too.

But we sweat it so much in these hot environments it didn't think anymore. True. And here, here I feel that when when I'm in a different environment, I think a lot more there I sweat so much to against mine anymore. Then I go down to the beach and if I spend a day in the water, and then I also do like body scrub. I feel cleaner. So sometimes, even if I was bare feet and I traveled and he was I've had cleaner, I've always felt dirty.

But then again, I really started to appreciate the cooling thing of a river. And the most beautiful thing about traveling is you get over yourself. You just get over yourself, your needs, breaks the law, and whatever rules you have in your mind that I cannot be without a target, or I need this or I need that in order to economy disappears because need breaks law. Yes, this rule of thumb, especially from this part of Europe, where I'm from, is that we have to take a shower every day, if I couldn't do this in Latin America probably would have, but it was not always an option. And even if there's a shower, sometimes it's not that clean, so I choose not to do it. So still, again, the webs were my favorite part of the hygiene.

But letting go of the European standard was a was was a mindfuck. I have to say it was a mindful but once you get Over there, it no longer becomes your priority. True when I was living in event for instance, we didn't always have access to showers. So we use the river. Also when we were on the road, there are some essentials and some basics that you always pack, wet wipes, bikini, toilet paper, very important. And this hygiene gel that you could put in your hands or other parts, you know of your arms wherever you feel dirty.

Okay, so these are the most important taboo topics that we want you to talk about and then more information again under the video.
