So what we're going to talk about in this part of the course, is the eight steps that are crucial to becoming a top rated Freelancer on up work. So the first part is a current job success score of 90% or higher. So that means you need to have 90% of positive comments reviews satisfaction. as a freelancer from clients when they end your contract. Your first hire on Upwork has to have been more than 90 days ago. So you need to have been on Upwork and hired for 90 days before you can even get that top rated batch.

You also need to have maintained a rising talent status or job success score of at least 90% for at least 13 of the last 16 weeks. So a little bit complicated in that one because we've already got the first one which is a current job success score of 90% or higher. However, you don't have that quite yet. You need to have maintained your rising talent status for 13 of the last 16 weeks in simple terms, he needs to have had a rising talent badge or a 90% job success score for the last three of the four weeks of the current month number four is need to have 100% complete profile profile picture location, job availability, job description, previous work reviews, just 100% complete profile. So this next one is often the most difficult and it was the one that took me the longest, you need to have a 12 month earning of at least $1,000.

So what that means is in the last year, you need to add at least 1000 full dollars from your jobs that you've watched on Upwork. Now that can be quite difficult if you're doing the lower jobs to build up your portfolio to build up your your reviews and to get that higher job success score. It's gonna take you a little bit of time and that's why it can be sometimes a longer process to becoming top rated because this is one of the most crucial ones you need to have at least an earnings of $1,000 in the past. We're moving on the next step is to have an up to date availability. This kind of ties back in with our fourth point of having 100% complete profile. But an upstate availability just means that you do update your availability you can't just leave it as available and not be applying because at what point is going to do is they're going to remove your status and they are going to change your availability for you to unavailable or busy on other jobs.

So if you are currently busy on other jobs, just change it to busy on other jobs. That way you'll protect your rising talent status or if you want to operate it already and you're just watching this course just know how to maintain your to profit status. That's how you do it. You just change your up to date availability. The next step is an accounting good account standing so no recent account holds. So basically no derogatory marks into you know, real negative marks nothing now workers have to step in and sort out otherwise that's going to ruin your chance of becoming top rated and the final step to becoming top rated on Upwork.

To have activity on Upwork in the past three months, so whether that's updating your profile or completing a job or just applying to jobs is need to be active on the platform.
