In this chapter, we're going to talk a little bit about imaging medical imaging to the knee. I've seen a number of patients that come into the clinic and demand MRIs or demand CT for the knees. And most people don't really understand what the difference between different types of imaging is, and what the advantages and disadvantages are. So through this chapter, I want to clear that up a little bit so that you understand what the best type of imaging is for each problem. Alternatively, if your doctor suggests to a certain type of imaging, you want to make sure that it's the right type of imaging for you. So we're going to talk a little bit about that to give you a basic understanding.
In this chapter, we're going to talk about three main type of images, ultrasound, X ray, and an MRI. We're going to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of each one, what each one is best for and why you should choose or why you need each one of these tests. Alright, let's get into it.
