In this chapter, we're going to talk about each specific type of knee injury that's relevant for you to know about. I want to stress that this is not a replacement or a substitute for going to your doctor. If you have a serious problem that you need to get checked out, it's important to go see your physician and not to diagnose yourself. Also, each type of these injuries can be talked about for hours. But that's not the point of this course. What we're trying to do here is give you an overview, and a main general idea so that you can understand what kind of pain you're suffering.
And through that you can know what type of exercises you can most benefit from, along with what exercises you should refrain from that can make the pain maybe a little bit worse. If you haven't already seen the video about the general anatomy of the knee, go back and watch that video. Because throughout these videos, we're going to base most of the knowledge on what I've already mentioned. So make sure you watch that first. Alright, let's get into it.
