So what happens when there's no decision making? What are the issues that you will feel your what will happen at work? What kind of consequences or what are the most frequent kind of symptoms that you would see when there's a lack of decision making? So there's a list of seven that I come across most of the time First, there's the feeling of being behind the work all the time, because there's no decisions like work continues forever. And you feel like overwhelmed by work, you don't have those limits, you're not in control. Second common issue, when there's no decision making is that you, you tend to work on what surgeon is what needs to be done tomorrow, and that's your priority.
The deadlines the urgency of the deadlines becomes your priority, as opposed to probably more strategic, more important matters, that you keep postponing and postponing. So that's the second common issue. The third one is that often when you don't take decisions is because you try to please everybody you try to say yes, you don't say no to some of the projects or requests from people so when there's too many people to please and you're afraid of saying no, then your your list of actions to dues and activities just grows exponentially. So lack of decision making creates more work for you force this when there's a feeling that you are doing more projects and the projects never finished. You need to take decisions to finish projects is very, very important. As important needs to start projects is important to finish.
Some of them will be successful, some others you will not finish, but don't drag them along. It's important to be strict on on when the projects will finish otherwise that then then the amount of work will just go Over the roof. Fifth big issue is that it all impacts your performance, you don't feel confident you feel normal when the sixth issue with decision making or lack of decision making is that there's no room for failures. So if you try to be perfect on every decision you take, you will never take a decision. Often decisions can evolve. It's just, we do part of that, and I'll try and I see if I like it, and then I would focus and dedicate more time.
So don't try to be perfect when you try to take decisions. And then is very important. Then when you are not taking decisions. You are just going against your development and and actually failing and we're going to see in the next section, failing is called failing is one of the best teaching methods that we are gifted with is when you fail. It's an opportunity to learn so if you don't take decisions You don't find us and then you don't evolve as individual as a person in your career.
