Hi and welcome back to our section on design principles in which we're going to literally start creating order out of chaos. And whilst form composition and design approach, do tie our gardens together both visually and aesthetically, they can get quite static and even boring. So if we take the design principles of unity, rhythm and order in mind, we do start creating gardens with life. And we'll discuss each of these separately. But just to keep in mind if you have these concepts in your head when creating gardens, then you start bringing gardens to life, and also creating gardens with strong appeal and great interest. The design principles are aesthetic guidelines, and they will aid you in composition of four materials and material patterns.
And also with how to deal with space, and also the elements within the space. So we're going to start with Unity. So unity refers to a harmonious relationship of all of the elements in your design. So, colors, plans, materials, and we want to create an an N divided, total effect. So how do you create unity in your designs, Unity has sub principles of dominance, interconnection, repetition and unity of three, and we're going to talk about all of them in the next lecture.
