Hi, in this lecture, we're going to start developing the conceptual plan. So we have our paper trace overlay on our layout plan, and we're going to start working on it. Yes. So as I said, What I usually start with is a rectangular design approach. And so I'm gonna start with that get my ideas down. And once I'm done with that, I'm I might want to try a different approach, like maybe a rectangle of 45 degree or something else.
But I know this property is relatively long and I know that a frame interviews are very important, but it's not just about that. It's not just about framing the nice views, but also screening of the views that the client does not want to see. Like the the garden shed or the electrical meters, the trampoline, for example. Now what you want to do when you're designing you want to move us quickly as you can with your pencil, the faster you draw, especially when you're starting developing ideas, the less likely you were start over analyzing what you're trying to do. I don't want to draw a little bit to stare at it, then draw a little again, stare at it, all I want to do is get stuff on the paper, rip it out, put another one down and run with it. So that's what I'm going to try to do here.
And we'll see what we're going to come up with. So here it is, I know we're going to need an access from the porch, the driveway area, and also an access to the house entrance. I'm just drawing shapes, not sure where I'm going with this at the moment. I know I want to frame this view here. So I'm gonna put a couple of trees maybe in the way so I can see through them from the patio. Maybe we can put a set of arbors here and set of steps down to get to this area.
That kind of leaves that open for some plants. This is gonna be alone here. We can have some focal points here some shrubs I can make in her bed close to the patio because I remember the client said she wants her bed as well. Now we can maybe put some planting or trees here to shade up the entry. So that's the concept number one I'm going to rip this off and start fresh and see if I can come up with some other ideas.
