Hi, welcome to finally face fear, a course designed to help you pack up your fears and bring them along for whatever adventure you're looking to go through. I'm Joe. I'm the course creator. And I wanted to take just a few minutes to tell you a little bit more about the course and also to present myself. So to get started, like I just mentioned, I'm Joe. I am a yoga and meditation teacher.
I'm also a life coach that specializes in helping wanderers or people who spend a lot of time gallivanting the globe, connecting with themselves to make their lives and adventures more authentically suited for them. I decided that I wanted to make this course because I had spent a lot of my life coexisting with fear. I traveled a lot. I had transitioned through different professional environments a lot. In fact, I've even recently left my nine to five and built my own business and I realized that, depending on how I developed my relationship with fear, I could coexist with fear in a much nicer way. So after learning how to do that, I saw how beautiful of an experience that was.
And I decided I wanted to help other people do the same thing. This is why I built finally face fear so that I could help other people, whether that be travelers or people who have more stationary lives, coexists with fear in a much more beautiful way. So that fear no longer gets in their way from living the lives of their dreams. So this is what this course is all about. The course in itself is broken down into five different sections that I want to tell you a little bit about right now. So in the first section, we're just going to take some time to better understand what fear is and the way that we view fear as a society.
Then in the second section, we're going to take some time to assess your fears. I have A framework and a format that I do this in and I'll present that to you in the second section, so that you can have a better look at your fears and better understand what they're all about. In the third section, we're going to better understand how to shift our focus or the way that we look at fear so that it stops being so paralyzing. In the fourth section, we're going to take some time to better understand how we can manage fear in the moment that fear feels most paralyzing. There are some styles of fear that arise in moments where there's like, a lot of strength and power within the fear. Like for example, if you're scared of flying, maybe when you're in a plane and there's some turbulence fear might feel so present that you feel unable to manage the situation in any other way than allowing fear to dominate.
But it doesn't have to be like that. I can teach you tools that you can use in those specific moments when fear feels like it's taking over the situation. And in the fifth and final section, we'll talk about how to expose yourself to fear Little by little, so that you slowly develop a closer and more comfortable relationship with fear. So that's how we'll be moving through the content of the course. I hope that this shows you how exciting it can be to have a different type of relationship with fear, and I look forward to seeing you within the next sections. Good luck with your fear management.
