Hello, and welcome to day three of the releasing the resistance challenge to help you get unstuck and go with the flow. How are you going with the challenge so far? Did you take the sabotage quiz yesterday? Did you notice anything cropping up for you that you weren't expecting? It can be quite juicy. So I hope that you took that quiz.
If you haven't, then go back and do that. Now. Today's topic is one that is one of my favorite tools to help me get unstuck, so that I can go with the flow, and it's called EFT, also known as tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique. Basically, what EFT does is you tap through various acupressure points on the body while you're repeating statements about yourself that you believe to be true. Firstly, negative statements. If you're in a negative mindset, then you neutralize those statements and then you go on to the more positive statements.
And while you're repeating the statements and tapping on your body, what it does is it actually rewires your brain to help you release the resistance energy about that topic. And what that does is it kind of neutralizes the next emotions that are there to help you step into a more adult perspective where suddenly those things don't trigger you as much anymore. So EFT is really useful for either overcoming negative mindset or for manifesting positive stuff into your life. So what I've included in the worksheet today are a bunch of different EFT YouTube links to a guy called Brad Yates, who is one of my favorite EFT instructors. You have to kind of sift through different ends EFT instructors on YouTube to find the person that gels with you. I've looked at a number of different EFT instructors, and there's a couple that I really like.
But you kind of have to like the tone of their voice, the speed that they're going out. And you've kind of just got to enjoy watching them really, if you're going to be basically copying what they're doing. So you just copy where they're tapping and you repeat out loud what they're saying while they're going through the video. So have a look at the different EFT videos that are out there and tap on what resonates for you so you don't have to do all of the videos and the worksheets. You just have to do the ones that resonate. for you.
So have a go at that today. And if you feel like you want to be tapping on something else, then that's totally fine as well. Just go onto YouTube, especially if you're if you do tapping anyway, just gone to YouTube, search for EFT, and then whatever keyword is coming up for you that might be physical pain or perhaps you're in emotional pain right now perhaps you're feeling stuck or burnt out. So search for any one of those phrases those keywords in YouTube with EFT and see what comes up for you that's relevant. So try not to happen today. I really recommend that you do at least one round of tapping every day for the rest of the challenge is the tool that I've really come to love and I tap most days either on positive or negative things, whatever's coming up for me that day.
