Okay, let's get into the backswing when you're in a bunker Greenside bunker, it's real important that you make a Long enough backswing to actually get the ball out of the sand. One of the biggest mistakes is swinging too short, and I'm going to tell you right away, that just doesn't work. I know it seems like it's if you go any longer than that the ball is going to go too far. As long as we keep our swing, a nice slow motion, you'll actually see the ball pop up and land softly onto the green. So when you're doing this, take a look and see where you're swinging the club in your practice swings. And what you'll find out is you probably been going too short.
So make an effort to get your hands to about chest high with the handle or your hands. You can also go as high as shoulder height, depending on how big you want to take this or how high you want to go. So this will definitely make the ball go a lot higher, where chest I will bring it out to medium pipe. So again, this is kind of what it look like. Well, since the Dropped right into the dirt and as you can see the dirt instantly sprayed up into the air. Whereas if I go too short, the sand comes out very low and that's exactly what the ball does.
So, easiest way to recap this is swing the chest high or swing the shoulder height and that should get the ball nice and high up out of the bunker.
