Full disclosure, folks, I am not a speech pathologist. I'm not a speech therapist. I don't play one on TV or in the movies. Nothing in this course is geared towards helping people who have any form of severe speech pathology or stuttering. I simply don't know anything about this. I am an expert on helping people who normally are fine speaking one on one or two people or organizations they're comfortable with.
But then when they're outside of their comfort zone, the ORS come up. That's what this course is about. So I don't want to oversell, I'm not a doctor, I have a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Duke University. Nothing that would qualify someone to help someone with severe speech problems. This course is for people with minor problems of simply saying too many us arms, ORS, you know as an other verbal ticks when they are giving presentations talks, or speaking in a situation that takes them outside their comfort zone. If you have more severe problems, I'd recommend that you find a speech pathologist or a speech therapist with all the proper credentials thanks
