Worried about remote controls for delivering PowerPoint presentations? For starters, if you're going to someone else's venue speech convention, a conference center, a client's boardroom, never and I mean, never assume someone's going to have a remote. If you want to use a remote by your own remote, get used to it, practice it. There are all sorts of portable ones where you just put an USB to the computer and it's going to work fine. Never, ever assume anyone is going to have the technology you need. You have a remote you like bring it with you use it, test it, bring extra batteries.

Bring an extra remote in case that one breaks. Also, be prepared to do it manually. You do enough PowerPoint presentations. Trust me at some point, your emote, just ease isn't gonna work. You don't want to turn it into a big deal. You don't want to apologize.
