This tip is for managers in so many organizations, you try to know what your employees are up to good managers. Oh, you're giving a presentation in Kansas City next week or in Bangkok next week, send me your deck so I know what you're doing. If you do that, as a manager, you've basically destroyed your employees ability to communicate effectively because they're gonna focus all their energy on a deck because that's what you're asking for. They fly to Bangkok or Kansas City to give the presentation. They can't just hand the deck. They have to speak.

My recommendation is if you are a manager, tell your employee you must send me a video of yourself speaking. Then send me the deck along with it. Do not send me a deck. Don't send me a deck. Don't send me a deck. Don't send me a deck.

Send me a video of yourself. Giving the presentation that's what I want to watch. I may or may not glance at the data do that as a manager, your employees will initially hate you long term. They will love you because they will be wildly more successful than their colleagues and their their careers will flourish.
