Hi. So we're now going to be looking at Neptune and Pluto. So Neptune, as we know rules the sign of Pisces. So this is all about spirituality, compassion. Dreams is also about illusion and delusion, you know, Neptune can delude you, and pull the wool over your eyes. So you have to be careful sometimes that you don't put somebody on a pedestal or make them out to be something that they're not.
If you're Neptune's in a particular place in the chart, you might think that everybody, you know, is sweet and lovely. And they're not actually so this is a lesson that we have to learn and learning about the planetary positions in our chart actually helps us understand what we do, and that's why it's about self development. astrology is very much about Standing up ourselves, and learning from that, and it kind of is very rewarding when you, you know, understand certain negative sides that you you've obviously come to learn and understand. So what else? So yes, it rules films and the film industry, and also the oil industry as well. And also fantasy, actually, because that goes with films, doesn't it?
And deception and imagination and nothingness, you know, because it's kind of, it's a bit like, if you were to look in the sea, you look down, but you can't it's not clear. It's nebulous. You know, you can see a little bit you can't see everything. And so that's what Neptune does. You actually can't always see the wood for the trees and so it Is it also about pure love and ecstasy and being idealistic, about dissolving, you know, things dissolving in front of you. It's very Neptunian.
And it's like folk, you know, that comes and goes, it's very like that. And it's also about compassion and empathy. So it's has a very mixed bag Neptune does. And obviously we, you know, we'll be talking a lot more about Neptune later through the course. Okay, so, Pluto, which rules the sign of Scorpio is really about power. It's about the power that we have and where we use it.
And wherever Pluto is, in our chart, where are we, you know, what are we doing with that power? And are we using it for the good of all and the good of the people around us because we've been given That power to use, you know, in the right way and know not to manipulate manipulative ways. And so it's, it's really is about being intense. It's about survival. It's can be fanatical. Its transformation though you know the phoenix rising out of the ashes, you know, out of nothing out of dusk and something wonderful and new.
But it's also to do with destruction and devouring. It's also very psychological. It's about control and powerless ness not having, you know, owning your own power is very plutonian and it's also about helplessness, and psychic things mediumistic things. Obviously Pluto is traditionally about death. And, you know, as I said, you know, out of that comes something new and beautiful. So that's Pluto.
And it's interesting because it was demoted to a planet always not a planet said it wasn't big enough, but actually has the most effect on us in the in our charts. And you will see that as you begin to learn astrology, and it's the furthest planet away from it and, and quite small, but it has a very powerful effect on honors on in art and reflected in that is in the chart in our own birth chart. So obviously, I'm going to have more to say about that as we go through that I'll be back for the net in the next video in one minute.
