Okay, we're gonna do the kick drum. Okay, so we're going to look at the kick drum, check the level, the meter is fine, it's so plus 10 on the peak, but these just can handle quite a low level. So we should be fine with that, or just walk it down a fraction, turn the volume a bit more over here. So we can hear it, right. I don't like that low mid, so we're gonna find out where that is. Change the queue so it's reasonably wide.
So we boosted it, that's where we don't like it. And that's the bit we're going to cut. And then we can add a bit of top this and this listen to where we're going to go. That's the bit I like to have wide. Kind of average good. And I think it's good.
It's, oh, that's such a shelving. So it's going to boost everything over certain point and So it's kind of EQ two we need a bit lowered. Yeah, hertz does it. Kick that's kicked on. I've criticized the snare. Once again shelving quite low.
So we're going to boost up we're boosting everything above two and a half k but only by small amount that's the High Pass build system so that down we can't even see below so it's gonna be good. I show that's always the top so we're not losing the top end. A good thing with a snap button. Yep. So same. Go to some of that sort of Listen to the two together.
Check the price. Good, bad. Good. So we'll leave it in phase one. Let's quickly move on to the boskie talks. We're running out of time we're going to keep going.
So bass guitar for the VCA and the band VCO. Should be off. quite aggressive sound off the CI unit. The bass mic, much nicer sound together more bass with less bass, more bass. So we'll leave it like that. What's the Dow Just listen to the to the mic.
Once again, we're gonna do this yeah, not too bad acoustic guitar just pull the high pass filter up into we can actually hear it and then just pack it back. And then we know we're not missing anything. We're gonna lose any low end. I'd like to lose some blood. If I do, I know it's not going to cut through so I'm going to leave it in. I might just pull a bit have really high top on that.
Switching to shelving might work better for me. I'm gonna do the guitar. So we've got two mics to start with here. On this guitar mic, that thing really that's the high pass filter should be about 70 hertz. That's the two together. Just check the sound the price.
Obviously, it's gonna stop playing now, I hope you come back and again high incomes. And so we're going to change the face. Listen to the A lot richer sounding when this nasty slightly better so gonna leave a quick listen to the vocal. Once again we can have a listen to this. Okay? So high pass filtering and that's the bit we don't like changing the queue here and see what happens.
So I'm just gonna say we go Billy I just couldn't check over here, see the compressor over here. So let's just bypass it. Just check that there's not loads more level when we bypass it. So we're not losing lots in the compressor, checking the threshold. We do want the meter to be moving, because that's what we want to actually be compressing. The it's the track is set reasonably fast, and the recovery is reasonably fast.
So it's gonna be quite quick. So we can just let the vocal sit down nicely in the mix. That's pretty much what we do.
