Welcome back guys. So, as far as we have completed all these commands, at angle circle, Conoco text all these commands we have completed in the previous lectures. In this lecture we will be dealing with petroleum strain BRAC sketches scale. It is great right now because sketch no sketches there in the GI and offset mirror, circular pattern, rectangular pattern and sketch dimensions. So, let's start making a nominal sketch. Say this two lines, so random lines without any dimensions Yes, let's invoke the first command.

That is your fill it to select to the first line, and then you have to just drag your mouse to the second one where you want to make the fill it in the vertex. And you can do the values here or you can just drag this handle like this. Or we can just do the values. Let's make it 10. Next one is stream for trim. We are going to make a circle by just clicking c you can move the circle command as I told earlier also.

And let's make a line two lines like this. And we are going to invoke the trim command. See, as soon as I'm reading you, too hear all the lines all the all the what you say the sketches all the entities are highlighting great and you can see a warning will be there because the structure the sketch constraints will be violated in that way. So, this is how trim command works. Next one is extend as soon as the command and I click on any of the lines, it will extend to the nearest point it is possible point C like this up to infinity this is going right. Even the curvature also tried to find out the next possible point.

We can again complete the sketch also for the trivium Next one is your break, extend we have covered. Next one is break. And the next one you can read it there also. Break basically breaks the sketches at the points of intersection. See, as I'm dragging the mouse here, this one don't don't be intimidated by these warnings, because this is just for demo purposes. So when you are making the sketches, so constraints or warnings might come sometimes, so you have to ignore them.

Most of the times, I think, next one is a sketch scale. As soon as I invoke the command, I can select the whole sketch. Oh, yes. And I can just drag this handle in and out to scale it and you can see the scale factors there. Good right let's have one is the actual dimensions and it's 1.5 is 1.5 times the actual scaling and let's make it point five that is just half of the same right? Yeah.

Next is your offset. When I know the offset command, I can select a sketch and I can drag this handle in or out like this like an absurd my sketch that particular dimension as you can see, you can give it the dimensions in that panel also. And as you can see, it is perfectly in alignment with the actual sketch. See next one This Mirror, mirror command actually replicates your sketch for that you need for the sketch and one mirror line. So this is the sketch that we hope selected and let's Okay, so on this one. So as soon as I click that one, that is a mirror right, the replica of the sketch that is what is mirror it is basically the rails basically reflecting what is in the front, right.

So same thing happens here also. This is going to replicate the sketch to the other side. Next one, let's go for circular pattern. And in this one, I'm going to select any one of the entity and let's delete one. Yes. Now again we are going to invoke the circular pattern.

And I will select one of the entirety that is yeah this line and I will select the center point and see type is full. So, I can give the quantities also also you can apart from full you can make it to half also you can do it some angles also I can increase the quantity See, this is how circular pattern works in fusion 360 and there is no changes in the actual mirror file that is the actual opposite, naturally circular rectangular pattern for rectangular pattern. What I'm going to do is I'm going to make a small sketch here. Let's go with this grid right. All right, as you can see, we are going to invoke a rectangular pattern for this particular sketch this particular small rectangle First we have to select objects. As you can see the rectangular pattern palette is highlighted there.

And I will select this one. Select the whole one, then I will invoke the rectangular pattern as and as you can see, this is the quantity three, and three in the up upside also, I can change the quantity to five, let's say. and here also, let's make it five yes five only. Right. So this is how your rectangular pattern works in fusion 360. Right, as you can see, looking marvelous.

Next one is your sketch dimensions. You can change the dimension of your sketch by clicking D also in your keyboard, or just moving the scale dimension command. Let's say I'm providing it 30 here See what are the changes going to make? See, this is good, this is changed and also the replica of the same because this is the main object and this is the replicated objects. So if you're making any changes in the replicated objects, nothing will change in the original. But if you're changing the original one, the replica will also be changed.

Let's make it 45. See, this one is evident from here. Right? Yeah. So that's it for this lecture. We are going to meet in the next lecture.

See you soon
