Hi. So in this video, I would like to talk to you about the powerful body language. The body language is really, really important, because if you have a bad body language, people will sense that they will see that you are not confident and that you are not socially successful. So what are the basics? The basics is that you should have an open body language. It's not a closed body language.
It's more like an open body language. In other words, ask yourself, how would you behave if you were happy and in a good mood? Would you be like that? Or would you be more open? So when you are interacting with people, I encourage you to have an open body language. In other words, your chest is open, and you are in a giving posture.
Here's the giving posture. And here is I would say a multiple Closed posture. Now, just be careful when you're crossing arms. Because it can mean two things. The first thing that can mean is that the person is bored. And the second thing is that the person is challenging or comfortable.
So, you should also look at the emotions. For example, if the person is bored, the person will be like that. And if the person is challenging, it will be more like that. So I, if you are new to this, don't cross your arms just have an open posture. Now, the posture that you should have is the one of someone who is confident. So you open your chest, your shoulders back, and you imagine that you have an A string that is pulling you to the sky.
And that's the posture that you should have. And now, you may have, I would say stressed gestures. For example, you could have something like that when you are stressed. We do some weird things. So what you should do is try to control the moves that you make. In other words, don't make them too fast because it makes you appear really, really nervous.
Hey, how are you? My name is Alan. Yes, I'm here. And you see, it doesn't really appeal. And you can see by via my voice is going up because I'm changing my body language. What you should do is imagine that you are under water and that you are making you move there.
There are more flow. But the more powerful is like Tom Cruise would speak or Brett speaks. They speak in a more controlled way rather than than being like that and being all stressed and jumping everywhere. Also, what is really important, you should be stable. Don't be jumping around and being all stressed. No, you are stable.
So it's really important. Don't be jumping around, be stable. Try to find the best position for you to be in stable, something that is really great to do to find the, this, the most stable position that you can have is that you just jump and how you fit land is the best position that you could have. So try, try, now you go and you just jump. And when you fit lens, it's the right distance between your feet. And that's how you are the most stable.
So body language is really, really important. I'm giving here the techniques on how you can fix your body language. But the most important thing is really, again, to feel great and to feel confident inside. How can you feel confident inside, you just remember a time when you felt confident. So before going to an interaction, you can just close your eyes for a few seconds. And you remember a time when you felt confident.
You can see here I'm just remembering a time when I felt confident when I'm talking to you and maybe Body language is confident. Now if I remember a time when I was really not confident, you can see here that my body language changes completely. And that's the power of body language. So again, don't be too focused on what to do with your hands and what to do with your posture. Just remember, have an open body language, open your chest, up, your shoulders are back and then you coke on the water. This would be the most important things.
And if you do that, you will have a powerful body language.
