Welcome back. In this video, we're going to talk about selling your app Once you've created it. So once you create your app, you'll have to market it. Okay, you're going to analyze the App Store for ideas first. So go on to the Apple App store@apple.com, check out their apps, do a search, and see how many competitors your app will have. You want to see if your apps actually innovative is actually something you can do for your market research before you even create your app is go check out the App Store and see exactly what's out there.
And if your idea is going to hold up, and then if you decide that you're not going to have that many competitors and your apps pretty innovative. You didn't want to decide how you're going to differentiate from your current competitors. Okay, so there will probably be a couple and you want to figure out how to differentiate from them completely. So you're gonna have to sell Apple as much as the end user, okay, so when you're getting your app accepted by Apple, just aim for the cool factor of the iPhone to get their attention. So take a look at Apple's company, if you look at what they strive for, it's really innovation, elegance. So you want to design your app around those same values and the same qualities.
You want it to be cool, you want it to be practical, but also something that's really useful and innovative and modern, okay. And keep in mind, it's difficult to get in touch with Apple. So if you try to get in touch with Apple and can't, don't get discouraged, just keep trying until you reach someone. If you go over to flurry.com, you can advertise you can get more downloads and monitor your apps analytics as well. So flurry is another great resource to advertise your app. Okay, so a couple notes on Apple App Store SEO.
So mobile dev HQ has a great article on finding the right keywords for the Apple Store. Okay, so I'm gonna put these article underneath the video, the links to them, so you could check them out. You can also read this article on how to rank your app at the top of the recommended section in the app store to increase your sales. Okay, so these are just two. We can't really get too much into SEO in this course. But I did want to throw those in there.
So you can do some more research and just wanted to point you in the right direction.
