Hi, everyone, Alexis Paris here. Welcome back. Congratulations. This is the last video. The last skill that I'm going to teach you in this class is to add your music to insert your music into your video, I highly recommend that you add music to any video that you do long or short. It's just better creates a better feel for your video.
And so I'm gonna teach you how to do that. And not only that, but how to seamlessly fade in your music and fade out. Okay, so you're just going to go over to the right or all of our tools are where we did our subtitles. Our transitions are backgrounds, your music will be here as well. So you just click on the music and your your library of music will pop up. So this is my library.
Note that any song that you use in the background, you want to make sure that the track is non copyrighted so that you can actually post your video if it's copyrighted. More than likely Facebook will buy your video You know, block your account. So make sure that your the music that you're using is non copyrighted music. So this isn't instrumental that is non copyrighted. So I'm going to just simply click it and drag it to the place that I went to be. So it's so easy to maneuver around, but we want it at the bottom of our clip separate from everything else.
So much I get to the very beginning of the clip. And then again, if you want a specific verse, or part of the song that you want to use, just go to that section and cut the parts that you don't need. So for me, I'm going to start the chat right here. I'm going to because I know that this part is a nasty intro that I don't want. So here I'm just going to stop my cursor cut it with command beam and delete this part I don't want now this deleted. You have to readjust your music tracks so that it starts at zero Not, you have no music everyone, Alexis here is here today here, and then musical randomly coming to you.
So make sure you readjust and bring the track all the way to zero. Now that it's there, we can play and see how it sounds. Hi everyone, Alexis Harris here today, I want you to think about the word impact perception is reality. So now currently, the music is louder than my voice, which is what we do not want. So you can lower the volume of your track and how to do that you do that so make sure that your track is selected is because it's highlighted in yellow around it. And you can manipulate the volume in two ways.
You can either adjust it over here on the right and use this dial where it says volume and adjust it here and as you see as I adjust the dial, the volume levels over here so you can adjust it here. Or you can just sit over here by hovering over this line on the track. You see It says it is fine. And you can simply move it up or down according to the volume that you want. So I'm going to move it down. I'm just going to just sit here.
I'm going to take it to think. Hi everyone, Alexis Harris here today, I want you to think about the word impact differently. I know you've heard it said that perception. This is good. I like this volume. Now.
Understand that you want to have a nice fade in and fade out as well. You don't want the music to abruptly abruptly stop, or sometimes you may depending on the video, but I just want to show you how to add that score as well just in case you want to fade in fade out. So to do that, you are going to go to the very beginning and very close. I don't know if you can see I hope that you can. There's like this little circle. This little circle right above this black bar on the music track where that circle is in Hover your mouse where you get these two horizontal arrows.
Access feeding, feeding audio feed audio. And so you're just going to click and simply drag. Now depending on how long you want your feed in to be, if you want it to be all along faded, your drag this all the way out, if you want to be a short quick feed in, you would make it short and quick. So I just want to short quick fade in, I'm gonna do the same thing for the end. But as you see, the track is still going. So I need it to end.
So I'm just gonna go here and do command B. There all of this out by pressing Delete. And then I'm going to fade this out again, hover over this little circle, wait for the two horizontal arrows and feed on that. So now we can listen. Hi everyone, Alexis Harris here today, I want you to think about the word impact differently. perception and then you can well, that's nice.
Great, be awesome. Do you every single day? Yeah, it's nice, right? So that's how you fade in, fade out your music and also adjust the volume and how to insert your music, your music pretty simple, easy to comprehend, easy to implement, and to make your videos. Great. Thanks so much for watching.
In the next video, I will share with you the project I'd like you to complete in order to apply all of the skills you have learned to make sure that you're comfortable, and you're familiar with Final Cut Pro and if any questions pop up, I can answer them for you. So thanks again for watching, and I'll see you in the final video. Bye
