You can't pull all the weeds in the garden, but you can plant flowers. I was sitting with the cancer, it was such a lovely human being at spirit rock, and said, You can't pull the weeds in the garden, but you can plant flowers. So the weeds are resentments. Your mind was built to create resentment. And you can't go in there and say, Oh, I'm just gonna pull out that resentment, I'm gonna pull that out. The only thing you can do is understand that your mind has like a hard drive.

And you have to basically force them out by planting flowers. So, you know, if you start pulling the weeds, more weeds will just grow up. So that's an efficacious way of dealing with resentments. But what you can do is plant flowers and in this case with the human mind, those flowers or flowers have gratitude. So again, it's just true Using a paradigm choosing the way to look at the world, and know that, as Einstein also said, you know, you can believe that nothing is a miracle or that everything is a miracle. So in this instance, make the conscious choice to plant flowers.

Flowers are beautiful, right? And weeds are those things like, Oh, I should have gone to Yale or I should have married this person, or I should have married this person I should have. I'd be happy now. If I won the lottery, if I was a lawyer, all those resentments about things that didn't happen are the things that are causing your suffering. So, stop it. plant flowers
