So there are some other options Once you've created your site that Google provides, since this is a Google product, you have the option to share this website with others, so that they can edit or view it. So just like with Google Docs, or Google Slides, if you want to have more than one editor, more than one person contributing to this, you can. So you have the share symbol here. So if we click on that, it'll bring up our options. And you can type in anybody's email that you want to share this with, you'll see that you have two options, they can edit it. So they would have all the editing rights that you have for adding pages and adding content.
Or you can have them to just view it. So if you want somebody's opinion, but don't want them to make any changes, you can click on View published. If you do give them editing rights, you'll see down here there's even a further option to prevent editors from publishing, changing access or adding new people. So maybe you do have somebody that you want to help you add content to the page, but you don't want them to be able to publish it. You want the final say before you publish it to see what happens. And you don't want those people who can edit, also add other people to this site.
So if you don't want that, you would click on this box so that they can edit. But the only thing that can't do is publish it and add other people and change the access meaning who can access it? We to turn that off now. And then the other thing is, who can actually view this? So when you're seeing it when you're editing, if you click Change, okay, right now it's off. Sometimes some schools only want people that work within that school or that district to be able to see this information.
So you can do that you can limit it to people that are in your school district or your company. But if you're putting this on the website, and you want anybody to be able to view it that has the link or that wants to search for it, you can do public on the web. So you would have to click this otherwise people who are not in your domain wouldn't have permission to be able to view it. I'm going to make it public for now. And it's just letting you know that that other people can actually view this. And then if you don't want to make any other changes here, you click Done.
Now some other things that Google has is the Undo, and the redo. Okay, so we have those options here. And then next to that, we have this eyeball, which is the preview option. So preview will let you see what your website will look like once it's published. So if you want to see how the public will view it, and how the click the links work, and click on links, and see how that works, you would hit preview. When you add content, such as video or a link that has an action to it, it's not going to show up when you're editing.
So you'll have the video and you're going to say it's not working to see if it's working and it's all what you want you to click on preview and then you can click on all the links and the pictures. We're going to get into that when I get into inserting content in that video so you'll see what that is but preview is so that you can see you site How will actually look when it's published online. And then always with Google, if there's these three vertical dots, that means there's a few more options there. So if I click on that, site analytics, you can see how many people have viewed your site, some other information there, you can duplicate this site. So I'm going to make this site for our practice site about dogs. Let's say you're going to make another site about cats, and maybe you're going to set it up the same way.
So you can duplicate the site and then on the duplicated site, you can go in and make the changes to the pages and the names and information. So there might be a way or reason you might want to duplicate a site, you can do that here. And then there's some help if you want if you want to look something up on how to do it or take a tour.
