Hey, welcome back. And here we are@elance.com probably one of the best places to hire people on a project by project basis. There are so many different jobs out there that people will do that people want to do. People love to work on a project by project basis. A lot of the people that you find on Elance some of them have full time jobs elsewhere, but a lot of them just do this, okay? They have the freedom that they want to work when they want where they want, but they're also depending on Elance to provide them or connect them with people that need jobs.

Okay, so Elance is very competitive, as far as people that are willing to work. Um, there's a lot of people that are going to bid for your job, when you post it. There's going to be a lot of people that go through and filter through, but that's a good thing for you as the outsourcer because you're going to have a lot of choices, you're going to be able to pick the best of the best at an affordable price. There's two ways to use elance.com. And one is to find talent. And one is to find work.

So if you're a contractor, you can click here and find work and go through that whole process. That's out of the scope for what we're talking about in this video. Because in this video, we're talking about outsourcing. So here on find talent, you can click here and see that there's, you know, a world of talent ready to work on, they've got a video, you can watch, there's a good description of how Elance works. So go through all that. And then when you're ready, done with the tour and the cost, and everything, it's actually completely free to hire on Elance.

There are a couple fees. And there's actually a $5 fee if you want to be verified, which actually just puts a little security emblem on your on your job, but it's up to you. And then you can go through all this and you can browse and see all the different categories and skills that you can outsource on Elance. So here there's programmers designers, writers, marketers, admins, consultants, all kinds of things like that. Okay, so the first thing you're going to do is post your job. It's free.

So you click here, when you click on post your job, and if you have any issues that you ask customer support number is right up here in the top right hand corner. But essentially, what you're going to do when you post your job is create an account. So you're going to fill in your name, first name, last name, fill in your email address that you use, because you're gonna have to verify your email address before you're allowed to post your job. Okay, so they're gonna send you an email, you're gonna need to go through and verify it. You can put your company name and it's optional. Your country and then you'll create a username, okay?

So it's going to be your public username. That's how people are going to see you. So don't use your email address. Okay, this is your identity on Elance. And it can't be changed later. So once you choose it, it's chosen.

And then you just create a password. A minimum of eight characters, one Number can't contain your username and or the word password or Elance. Okay, so they'll let you know if you've created a worthy password or not. So go through that whole process. Tell them how you heard about them. Then click Continue.

And then go to your email address and open the email they send you and just verify your account. And then on the next page, you're actually going to be able to post your job which we're going to talk about. In the next video, I'm going to run you through exactly how to post your job, what to say what to look for, and then we'll go from there.
